Love the videos guys! Just started doing jitz again after a ten year break. I was never good at take downs, and still have a long way to go... But I've been watching your videos, doing some basic drills and finally got my first blast double! Damn it was satisfying😂😂 hungry to keep making progress. Thanks coach!
The knee to the hip comes from this specific position where you trap the foot and they turn to sprawl. In a regular double you would go to the knee and wrap. You could still go to the knee from this position but it may be harder to reach as your opponent will be sprawling that leg back.
Kinda sad that Anton is mixing in grappling. He was so pure with his wrestling it was a joy to watch. We already had Brian as the wrestler-grappler guy, and his students as (pure) grapplers so it was nice to see Anton always popping up with some pure hearted wrestling techniques/terminology without the apologetic undertone.
