You can use longer screws that fit the hub and hammer on those to get them out. Eric the car guy has a tutorial where he does that method on a cd5 accord.
Hey man great content. I also like your level of activity and responsiveness to your viewers. I'm actually about to help a good buddy of mine turbo his 2000 accord coupe, witch is what brought me to your channel. I have high hopes for your channel considering your chill personality and the fact that it doesn't seem like many people still show these underestimated cars love anymore. Its nice to see some true to heart BUDGET PROJECTS by a working class individual. I will defiantly be sticking around......PS. I'm defiantly interested in a "TAG TURBO" sticker if those become a reality.
Hey thanks a lot man I appreciate your kind words! Feeling like I'm starting to gain some traction finally so that excites me. Aiming to show people that you can mod cars yourself on a budget too so I'm glad you like the style! Best of luck with the 00 Accord man. Should be a ripper with that f23 in it! So much untapped potential. Honda overbuilt these cars honestly lol
Yeah basically just rear prelude hubs if you already have rear disc. Otherwise it’s the whole knuckle and Park brake cables to convert to disc. And the knuckle is supposed to be modified with a 6th gen accord stub shaft pressed in. But I used the 5th gen one still. but the Mazda 626 axle nut bottoms out on the prelude bearing race and doesn’t fully seat on the stub shaft. I loctited the shit out of it and cranked it good and it’s been fine. Kinda sending it.
You’re awesome!! Are ARP head studs needed to run like 7lbs of boost on an ebay turbo set up? I’ve seen you mention them in other videos. What I plan on doing right now is turbo kit, fuel pump/injectors, spark plugs and ecu. Then built engine + more boost next year. In your opinion is there anything wrong with my plan?
Arp head studs are more of a piece of mind on low boost applications. For an eBay build I would recommend you get them, though, cause boost creep/spikes on an eBay wastegate...hhhmmm, not worth the risk. I have arp studs on my eBay turbo build
Sounds like a really solid plan. I would say you don't need head studs, but it's good insurance and nice to know that it's not a weak point. Head gasket job isn't too hard honestly. it's also possible to install one stud at a time and retain the factory head gasket. I've heard of that too.
Probably spent more than I had to... But def cheaper to get adapters if cost is your only factor. Otherwise my conversion was like 1k... Lol such a waste but oh well. I did it with everything new it's bulletproof and I feel confident with it.

Hey bub, on the rear of these cars we can get the 4 lug disc and just swap the hub? I'm trying to figure this out myself.

@@_Keir yeah I get what you’re saying. I’ve just never busted into an engine before idk how hard it is to install head studs:(

@Shadi Alanati No problem man, happy to help. Good luck with your car!
Redoing my entire suspension and brakes on my 95 accord, such a pain 😹
You're not lying. Every bolt seized since they're so old. Good luck man.
Will the odyssey hub and caliber mount on the accord knuckle
I think the mount for the hub is different. That's why I got the whole knuckle
How much did all this cost or is it better to get adapters

Bro I’ve got questions 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Send me a direct message on Instagram
What axles are you using?
Stock axles. Snapped one and replaced it with a FMP aftermarket. Probably won't hold that much power. But I don't launch it that much
i almost have the exact same car mine is just the coupe or however i spell it
You spelled it right. Nice man enjoy it! Wish mine was a coupe would be faster 🤣
Men tu accord esta genial 👍
Thank you! 👍
