Ahhhhh! Alhamdulillah when I saw this, I clicked so fast! Congratulations again on your marriage and May Allah continue to bless your union 🤎. Ameen rabbi’ alameen!! This also came at the perfect time because I’m getting married in a month, Alhamdulillah and I need these gems. I completely agree that resting in my femininity has been a challenging but enjoyable mindset change. As you mentioned, I see it as a blessing to be able to rest and have someone who wants to help and take the lead.
Ameen sister and may Allah make your husband the coolness of your eyes and grant you both a good life. Absolutely, learning to lean back and accept the leadership of your husband in marriage is vital as long as his leadership is good and in both of your best interests.
Salam sister. Wonderful to see you back. Ok, chicken curry…here goes… Fry 3 medium onions until golden brown Add cloves of whole garlic (10 cloves) crushed and fry gently Add crushed ginger to mixture and fry gently Add 1-2 tomatoes from tin and cook. Add water ( 2 cups ) and allow to cook until thick. Add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder to your taste, mix well then add chicken. Stir fry chicken ,turning heat down a bit, until cooked (15mins). Add water ( 3 -4cups) and cook until water reduces and thickens and simmer. Add garam masala and freshly chopped coriander and enjoy. Please note: onions need to be fried until golden brown.
I'm so glad you've started to post videos often now. Alhamdulillah. I benefit from them so much especially the guidance that's in them for single muslimahs. Now that you're on another journey of your life, I'm looking forward to see that transition and learn from it as well in sha Allah. Jazak Allah Khair, sis. 💕
Asalaamu alaykum all the way from South Africa. Allah sent you my way for a reason. I can relate to everything you mentioned is this video. I laughed so hard at the start when you mentioned that he would get upset with you when you didn't ask him to do the masculine duties...but we are so used to doing things and getting things done by ourselves. Because my husband comes from an independent background as well.. many times I find him sweeping and wanting to cook.. then I fighting him off lol. But I can't say shukr enough to Allah for granting me a husband that doesn't treat me as his maid
LOL, such is life but it’s good to learn to accept help not that you can’t do things yourself but men want to be needed and it’s in their nature to assist so we should let them.
Everybody asking her if she is pregnant? And on top of it they say ma sha allah like!? Can we allowed her to have her privacy if you can tell or know she is just keep it to yourself. You no gaining anything on saying it! Beside this, love your blogs😍😍
Alhamdulilah for people like you that share REAL and clear advice because this is what is needed! MashaaAllah TabarakAllah to your marriage, may Allah swt continue to bless you both!
Great to see you again, Nafisa! I know the programme you talk about. It's a book written by Arese Ugwu. There are 2 books: 1st - The Smart Money Woman and 2nd - The Smart Money Tribe. It's the first book that was created into the movie on Netflix. It's an amazing series for the African women to watch. It's so relatable. Thank you for this amazing video.
Assalamu Alaikum Nafisa, hope you are well and enjoying married life In sha Allah. Just wanted to say we appreciate how transparent, truthful and real you are with your audience. In particular, your comments about the highs and lows we experience when it comes to our deen, something which is not often spoken about but many experience. May Allah swt keep us firm on his religion, accept all our efforts, and bless us all, Ameen.
I’m also very independent and had to adjust. Especially because My husband immigrated later and I already knew how to do things here so I tend to take over, but I am learning to let go of some things. I also find that I have to teach my husband some things coz mannerisms abroad are not the same as those in Africa.
Allahumabariiik!! SubhanAllah, the weather this year has been different, and we have to be careful about not complaining! I learned myself in kitab at-tawheed that we couldn't insult the weather (Like saying, 'this weather is digusting, etc.')
You were so missed my dear sis. جزاك اللهُ خيرًا for making another your wonderful videos. May ALLAH عز و جل bless your new life as a married woman. ♥️♥️♥️
Salaam Sister Thank you for posting today Your words today were exactly what I needed to hear. Going through a challenging time in may Family. May Allah continue to reward you.
Asalamualaikum Nafisa, the curry you've made is brilliant as it is mashallah. Something I like to do is add fresh coriander and fresh green chillis at the end when the currys almost cooked. It makes it sooo much nicer !😊
Assalamualaikum sister Nafisa, glad to find your beautiful channel!! I hope u have a wonderful life with your husband, and i ask Allah to bless you with a big and strong family, stay safe sister!
Asmualaikum dearie. Ma shaa Allah I am happy to see you posted this video we really missed you. May Allah bless you and your marriage. May Allah grant you all the happiness in this world and the hereafter and all all of us Ameen ❤️💯
MashaAllah tabarakAllah, about the curry sister, I think you should have either boiled the chicken with ginger, garlic , salt and coriander seeds separately before incorporating , you wouldn't need to add water because you will have enough broth after boiling the chicken. Or you could have marinated them chicken with spices and shallow fry them before adding them in. Bay leaves and coriander are good too
Salaam Walaikum, gd video Must admit tahujjud is getting harder yes, but I do it once now every month always have done - so I've remained consistent in that. Also it was the muhurrum month sacred months. Good curry, I will actually try this curry out it different form typical Pakistani dishes/ curry. Other spices you can add is cumin, coriander powder, red chilli powder, pinch of turmeric, paprika /or even garam masala or veg or chicken stocks - you can even add pasatta and cream or yogurts they are also good to add in curries to make it more rich!it Another good curry to make is curry tikka masala :)
“It’s sins that prevent Qiyam and it’s Qiyam that prevents sins”. I suggest my dear Muslim sis that you make lots of istigfar and repent to Allah. Assalamualykum ❤
