EAS Scenario - The BBC's Final Closedown in 2028 (MOCK)

  • DISCLAIMER: This is only a mock, this video is for entertainment purposes only, and is not intended to be a negative opinion on the BBC in any shape or form, I wholeheartedly value the BBC and everything they have done for television, and I hope anything like this never ever happens, and that the BBC will live on as long as television is in our lives.
LORE: As the financial crisis deepens in the United Kingdom, Westminster is forced to make major cuts in their budget, this shockingly includes the abolition the TV Licence, a requirement to watch television as it airs in the UK, which results in the demise of a national institution, passing the torch to their rivals, ITV and Channel 4.

well, if it ever happend, i definately would'nt care tuppence about it, because i don't even watch TV these days!, just videos on you tube. im more of a music person! anyway, why can't they just accept ads, like everyone else?!?

@mike_mcgb What are you talking about it 'ended in disaster'? RTE has always been part funded by advertising. Their channels today are structured the same as they were in the 90s.

This may be a mock, i feel people should listen to the BBC bleed without funding tv and radio would not be able to continue to broadcast without the licences fee. it may be an old model for way for people to pay the tv licence fee if they want to watch BBC tv and Radio in their own homes. You have to pay the tv licence it the law,
BBC will never go commerical as their not enough advertising to go round, So be careful what you wish for people by scrapping the tv licence this may come true.
