I like to get the power section first too. And get the power cord wired in. Waiting until the end makes those critical solder joints alot more difficult. Oh and those long signal wires should be shielded wire.
What a JIP ... not really dude. I've built a Mojotone 18 Watt TMB this year (during COVID lockdown) and I'm looking at this build for my next project. I'm going to do the head version and then order up a custom Mojo Select cab with 4 x 10's ... The head will be going through a Boss Waza Craft Tube Amp Expander which is what I'm doing with the 18 Watt TMB and I'm quite pleased with what I get out of it. I sure hope Part 2 is coming! I'd like to hear your amp versus Justin Cody Fox's demo on the Mojotone demo. I owned a 1997-98? AC30 TBX Reissue and sue wish I had still ... oh well, like many of the old pieces of gear I sent down the road for $$. Anyhow, thanks for the video and can't wait for Part 2.
Part 2?.......Didn't even know there was a Vox style Kit. Maybe the solution....maybe the problem? Regardless, it's? so good to have a walk through. Cheers!
That really depends on your level of experience. An experienced Tech will be able to complete a build of this level within 5 to 8 hours. You really need to take your time and follow the drawings provided by Mojotone. The amps sold by Mojotone are of very good quality, but you need to be sure to measure the resistors that are provided, at times, they are out of tolerance, especially the carbon composition types.
True, this amp has a nice diagram, but Mojotone doesn't not give full instructions for all their amps. For a first kit, a champ is a great amp that is more well-documented.
Very well done. Looking forward to part 2 (please).
Ready for PT. 2!
You built the 2 types of amps I'm dreaming about. Ready for pt 2!
Have you had a chance to do a run through of the completed inside? Would be curious of the outcome...

Your statement at 0:40 rings quite true.

I love how this guy just took the bull by the horns
I think I'll make a wooden box that can hold the chassis upside down and reverse without bumping stuff around
I am about to start my build of this amp. This video has some great advice! How did it turn out? Any more tips?
Assuming this project shit the bed at some point since no part 2?
Aluminum chassis if it is I’m sold on having to get it I think aluminum is better than steel .Steel in magnetic
How long does it take?

So there just a diagram no instructions step by steps
