I want to add my experience with the 4th/10th angle. Ketu in 10th doesn't feel like I'm uptight about leadership. When I had leadership positions I didn't care enough. I also was a hard worker that pretended that I cared about the job when in reality I care nothing about the company or the job. I feel like my environment is uptight and it doesn't just have to be a work environment. But if I'm around a group of people who are coming off too uptight I will intentionally rebel. If I don't quit my job I usually get fired for not being in alignment with policy. Rules... With my rahu in the 4th, it's not that I pretend to care - I care so much that I pretend that I don't. My emotions are so deep (Scorpio 4th) but I come off as not having any for protection. I do come off as being emotionally stable, but if I'm going through something I am deeply depressed or broken. But people would never know that. I don't talk about (current) pain until I've healed.

I care so much so deeply that people wouldnt get it, i dont show it, and when im broken Im so broken people wouldnt know how to handle it. And i have jupiter there next to rahu so i go fuck money big time often, money always come to me easily and from family and so on, so im always provided for but it holds no value to me, and i just spend it, i can just give it away like too much, i have had a real hard time with money in that way like very unbalanced, hating the concept of money and how it makes people behave with like greed for ex. To needing it too much not caring how i get it, really irresponsible like taking and ending up with lots of lones and debts, that my mother then ends up paying for me very unbalanced, but i am a libra with torus and rahu in the eighth hous so being unbalanced trying to reach balance has been a major tem in my life so, not so strange.. But not caring or not being able to care the right way has been a huge struggle! But now after a lot of work and philosophying on the matter i have finally reached a point where ive reached a sens of responsibility about it, at 36 years old! Not a day too late, think it has to do with my saturn maturation! I have him on my ascendant in libra.. And i have worked hard on my self to get tomthis point so.. It feels like a reward to have reached this point, i feel like ill manage my life alot better now...
As a person who has rahu in the 4th house(and also moon in Scorpio), I’m watching this crying so hard. Yes I would act as I’m angry when I feel unloved. I cover myself with aloofness and “rational” behavior. Learning how to feel is a big lesson for me as I enter my 20s. They don’t teach this kind of stuff in school. I understand what you mean because I have Rahu in 4th and Ketu in 10th as a Scorpio ascendant, I suffer same way and more in my working place. And they also shift sometimes your 4th feels like Ketu and vice versa. I believe the way we have these as our axis is to accept it and let things go but like he said be wary of falsehood and also not to uptight to things, wherever that placement is. Being aware is the key, if they are willing to learn though.
Ketu is overdeveloped, Rahu is underveloped. With Ketu you have to relinquish, with Rahu you have to learn. The Ketu uprightness comes from being a know-it-all, thinks it knows best. Rahu falseness comes from sheer ignorance: it can't do the job right.

In my own observations I have found that where Ketu is there is an uncomfortable essence about the person...For example, I have found in people with 1st house Ketu that they are awkward and are not self-conscientious. They aren't aware of how awkward they are and therefore don't carry a self-conscious filter. I often feel uneasy around Ketu 1st house people because they lack a certain self-awareness. Ketu in 5th house - awkwardness in how they express themselves. (2 people in my life with this placement are Autistic and verbally very uneasy in their communication style) I have found with Ketu in 8th house that there is an awkwardness in how one defines their personal power. There seems to be battles with power (coupled with inability in trusting others and desire to control everything). They seem to lack the understanding of their own power. They have power struggles with others, they are either the victim or the enemy. There is an awkwardness in their personal power, almost like it's either too much or not enough - they stumble in that realm. These are just some things I've picked up in reading other people.

Pretty negative take on Rahu in the 10th there Ernst. In my case I've worked for myself primarily, but when Ive had to hire others I've treated them very well and with great respect. It is actually the perception from the general public of me that is false. Or better stated, the public perception of me is always off to great degree whether im a saint or sinner in the eyes of the larger group.

Rahu in the 5th ( 20:11 ) and ketu in the 11th ( 34:19 )...I just hate being in the groups...i just feel like i dont exist when for example i m in a group of friends so i always prefer being one on one with a friend. There is a big dilemma because many astrologers teach that Rahu and Ketu give aspect, but Parashara did not teach this, as far as I Know. I'm also confused because everyone says something different about this topic. Some teach that Ketu has no aspect as it has no head. Rahu supposedly has, ,, and some say that 2,5,7,9. Rahu with Sun in the 6th house. Never had enemies or bad financial problems. Actually was always neutral financially (but i think people think I'm wealthier then i really am) Did have Father issues all my life until 40 years old. Will enter Rahu/Rahu Dasha in January....i hope this brings me good luck!
Check navamsa chart, maybe that's good in your case. Also if there is conjunction or aspect of benefics like jupiter, it improves the things of that houses

For Ketu in the 11th...doesn't it go to the other extreme as well, trying to impose it's rigid ways onto the other members of the group? Cause insecurity/rigidity doesn't always want to blend in, sometimes it looks for other more insecure individuals to build a followers list...which temporarily makes them feel accepted, approved, valuable. I have the 4th Ketu/10th Rahu axis. I had to do all the dirty details in my 10th house. I always faked it until I made it when things were bad. I will say that I lied about the true nature of my business to friends and family. I think I chose that business because of my 4th house and home life. There was no way to be relaxed in my childhood home, I was on eggshells all the time.

For all you know, your Rahu may be in 9th and not 10th as per Ernst's settings for Charts. He uses Sayana Ayanamsha (Zero ayanamsha) with Dhurva galactic centre, middle of Mula setting for Zodiac and Dhruva Equatorial longitude for Nakshatra positions. So you have to make chart as per his settings (which separately teaches) which is available on his website. Else, you will not get the real gist of what he is saying and why.

Curious about Rahu and Ketu on house cusps. For instance, I have Rahu at 29° 57' of Aries. My 11th house begins at 29°36' of Aries. Technically this is 11th house Rahu, but Aries is the primary sign of my 10th. Am I uptight and false about more than one area of life?
You said in the video you released recently that the angles houses are the ones that get the results of haru and ketu by proximity. So, for example, if haru is in the six, the "problems" will happen in the seventh, mainly. Does that mean we have to combine the effects of haru and ketu in the actual houses they appear with the results it gets in the closest angle house?

It's your test in this lifetime to loosen up when you're dealing with the outside world and people who you meet and work with on a daily basis. It means don't be so controlling about your needs and wants from your spouse. Let him/her enjoy even if at first, it makes you uncomfortable and irritated. Do it a few times and you'll see rahu and ketu will become your friend.

It depends on what other planets you have and how old you are but it would really help if you just relax a bit when it comes to dealing with your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend and people that you work with and meet daily.

I have NN 10/SN 4 myself. I have understood leadership and responsibility and the particularities of those concepts since I was a young child (8yo). I don’t think I’m an outlier. I think another falsehood of Rahu in the 10th house is not only wanting to be a leader but being false but, as in my case, being put in a very authoritative or leadership positions and taking it too seriously you flip OR end up not knowing how to actually delegate. I’ve seen this where the mistake is not of a tyrant but of the “superhero”. Not being able to cultivate reliability in others and end up playing all of the instruments. There is also not feeling like a leader or not wanting to lead but going for areas which inevitably put you in a leadership position I’ve seen with this. And when they get to the inevitable 10th house position, there is an over correction of “being responsible for others” or “the place where the buck stops” in such a way that ends up the same-it’s a one man/woman show with others skating beside them not truly under them. Which is also not leading. Just a little tidbit of the other way I’ve seen this falsehood play out not just in my own life but in others, usually those who will use passive voice about their part in acquiring a position of authority.
Ernst, might the placement of rahu/ketu correspond to the twelve personality types as described by Carl Jung?. Also, from what I understand there are 12 personality disorders as well (such as narcissism, schizotypal, etc). For example, i think rahu in the 10th signifies a narcissistic personality, whereas rahu in the first might signify a schizotypal , rahu in the eighth might signify an avoidant personality. Etc Etc.
Jung only described 8 personality types. He missed one that the Enneagram eventually articulated for him in the 1980's. (It's a hard one to understand-- type 6. In his defence, even Pope Gregory II missed it too [along with one other] when he put forth the seven "sins" for the Biblical cannon. His colleague, one of the desert fathers, Evagrius, had studied the writings of the early Greek philosophers and found nine "personality types" or in the context of his contemplative community, nine ways we're blocked from the divine, based on Plato's nine divine forms. If only Pope G had listened to Evagrius...). Anyway, for the most part, the jungian types do correspond to the Enneagram types, but the connection then to astrology has eluded everyone who's tried to find the connection. The closest my very humble search has found is in the placement of the outer planets and the nodes, but even still that's not completely dependable because a type 5, for example, can be asked by his chart to work out different issues around his fiveness (his stinginess, his disconnection from the heart, issues around his particular instinct stack, etc.). I'm sure someone like Ernst could find the correlation and solve one of Hellenistic thinking's greatest puzzles... :)

A thought about Rahu in the 12th. Do you consider the 12th house to be the house of illusions or disillusionment or something along those lines? If Rahu, who is false, is in the house of things that could also be considered false ( like disillusionment or illusion) would these things cancel each other out?
no, it does not cancel things out. 12th house is the house of surrender which is the main thing Rahu in the 12th n eeds to embrace to get to the next level of their lives.

In my own observations I have found that where Ketu is there is an uncomfortable essence about the person...For example, I have found in people with 1st house Ketu that they are awkward and are not self-conscientious. They aren't aware of how awkward they are and therefore don't carry a self-conscious filter. I often feel uneasy around Ketu 1st house people because they lack a certain self-awareness.
Ketu in 5th house - awkwardness in how they express themselves. (2 people in my life with this placement are Autistic and verbally very uneasy in their communication style)
I have found with Ketu in 8th house that there is an awkwardness in how one defines their personal power. There seems to be battles with power (coupled with inability in trusting others and desire to control everything). They seem to lack the understanding of their own power. They have power struggles with others, they are either the victim or the enemy. There is an awkwardness in their personal power, almost like it's either too much or not enough - they stumble in that realm.

Pretty negative take on Rahu in the 10th there Ernst. In my case I've worked for myself primarily, but when Ive had to hire others I've treated them very well and with great respect. It is actually the perception from the general public of me that is false. Or better stated, the public perception of me is always off to great degree whether im a saint or sinner in the eyes of the larger group.

Actually was always neutral financially (but i think people think I'm wealthier then i really am) Did have Father issues all my life until 40 years old. Check navamsa chart, maybe that's good in your case. Also if there is conjunction or aspect of benefics like jupiter, it improves the things of that houses

I have the 4th Ketu/10th Rahu axis. I had to do all the dirty details in my 10th house. I always faked it until I made it when things were bad. I will say that I lied about the true nature of my business to friends and family. I think I chose that business because of my 4th house and home life. There was no way to be relaxed in my childhood home, I was on eggshells all the time.
Also, I wasn't allowed to show any feelings in my 4th house. My 10th house, I chose a job that put me in a position to be void of my personal feelings. I guess it worked out.

For all you know, your Rahu may be in 9th and not 10th as per Ernst's settings for Charts. He uses Sayana Ayanamsha (Zero ayanamsha) with Dhurva galactic centre, middle of Mula setting for Zodiac and Dhruva Equatorial longitude for Nakshatra positions. So you have to make chart as per his settings (which separately teaches) which is available on his website. Else, you will not get the real gist of what he is saying and why.

Curious about Rahu and Ketu on house cusps. For instance, I have Rahu at 29° 57' of Aries. My 11th house begins at 29°36' of Aries. Technically this is 11th house Rahu, but Aries is the primary sign of my 10th. Am I uptight and false about more than one area of life?
The closest cusp in degrees will be the most important house.
You said in the video you released recently that the angles houses are the ones that get the results of haru and ketu by proximity. So, for example, if haru is in the six, the "problems" will happen in the seventh, mainly. Does that mean we have to combine the effects of haru and ketu in the actual houses they appear with the results it gets in the closest angle house?

It's your test in this lifetime to loosen up when you're dealing with the outside world and people who you meet and work with on a daily basis. It means don't be so controlling about your needs and wants from your spouse. Let him/her enjoy even if at first, it makes you uncomfortable and irritated. Do it a few times and you'll see rahu and ketu will become your friend.

It depends on what other planets you have and how old you are but it would really help if you just relax a bit when it comes to dealing with your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend and people that you work with and meet daily.

I have NN 10/SN 4 myself. I have understood leadership and responsibility and the particularities of those concepts since I was a young child (8yo). I don’t think I’m an outlier. I think another falsehood of Rahu in the 10th house is not only wanting to be a leader but being false but, as in my case, being put in a very authoritative or leadership positions and taking it too seriously you flip OR end up not knowing how to actually delegate. I’ve seen this where the mistake is not of a tyrant but of the “superhero”. Not being able to cultivate reliability in others and end up playing all of the instruments. There is also not feeling like a leader or not wanting to lead but going for areas which inevitably put you in a leadership position I’ve seen with this. And when they get to the inevitable 10th house position, there is an over correction of “being responsible for others” or “the place where the buck stops” in such a way that ends up the same-it’s a one man/woman show with others skating beside them not truly under them. Which is also not leading.
Just a little tidbit of the other way I’ve seen this falsehood play out not just in my own life but in others, usually those who will use passive voice about their part in acquiring a position of authority.

Ernst, might the placement of rahu/ketu correspond to the twelve personality types as described by Carl Jung?. Also, from what I understand there are 12 personality disorders as well (such as narcissism, schizotypal, etc). For example, i think rahu in the 10th signifies a narcissistic personality, whereas rahu in the first might signify a schizotypal , rahu in the eighth might signify an avoidant personality. Etc Etc.
It would be great if it was that way, but no, its not so linear. You will find all 12 types with nodes in all the houses.
Jung only described 8 personality types. He missed one that the Enneagram eventually articulated for him in the 1980's. (It's a hard one to understand-- type 6. In his defence, even Pope Gregory II missed it too [along with one other] when he put forth the seven "sins" for the Biblical cannon. His colleague, one of the desert fathers, Evagrius, had studied the writings of the early Greek philosophers and found nine "personality types" or in the context of his contemplative community, nine ways we're blocked from the divine, based on Plato's nine divine forms. If only Pope G had listened to Evagrius...). Anyway, for the most part, the jungian types do correspond to the Enneagram types, but the connection then to astrology has eluded everyone who's tried to find the connection. The closest my very humble search has found is in the placement of the outer planets and the nodes, but even still that's not completely dependable because a type 5, for example, can be asked by his chart to work out different issues around his fiveness (his stinginess, his disconnection from the heart, issues around his particular instinct stack, etc.). I'm sure someone like Ernst could find the correlation and solve one of Hellenistic thinking's greatest puzzles... :)

I have Ketu in the 11th and I am uptight as to my affluence. In my country I am a well known fashion designer and I refuse to use my affluence for anything that isn’t truly worth it. So yes.
