I’m still amazed by this truth. Why me? How? I thought all people were loving like me. Sacrificing like me. Willing like me to be empathetic. I cry at the knowledge of the opposite. I cry knowing how much I was abused, without my knowledge. But blessed because of the same blindness to it. I see my heart now, and how different it is from most others. God knows me. The enemy comes to deceive and destroy. I feel so humiliated, but somehow strengthened. Not even all sufferers have seen what I’ve seen in this. Revenge is futile. The heart is the evidence. The desire in the heart is the evidence. The strength of God is present. I’d be dead otherwise from the lies, the humiliation, the abuse. I’m not so strong as to survive this, and be mocked, scorned and laughed at. My spirit has and will always belong to God. “ Forgive them, even when they know what they do”. They have not yet received the blessing of God. I am incredibly blessed to have him.
