Thank you so much for the coverage on NAMM, new products, and us as a team in general. We love working with you and enjoy watching your content at ROLI HQ! ❤
it looks like you had a great time, man ;) ,minus the strain of the physical part of things. The Synido TempoPad looks interesting. And i hope you make a video comparing the ReLoop Keypad Pro with the Novation LaunchKey M. mk4, which is, imo, the current #1 mini MIDI controller keyboard . (I might hold getting one, and wait for your review on the ReLoop) . thanks for this ;) PS: no news on the Erae 2 ?
9:35 .... You are the 1st channel that I've seen cover this product, but I don't know why because this is a no-brainer for hobbyist/producers! Awesome Job!
It's good to have a controller that's a bit more generic and not made for a specific DAW. I think as long as they can get the pads to be as responsive as the Mikro...it should be a hit. I have the tempo pad P16... The pads feel great, silicone...but they aren't as sensitive to the touch...but that's about as consistent as any controllers in that price range. Hopefully this new product is a bit more premium. Full size pads though 🔥
The wind controller sounds cool, i have seen some of those elsewhere and always wondered how that would work for someone who is not a wind instrumentalist? Would love to see your thoughts
I appreciate you going to namm for me 😂jk I wish I would have made it maybe next year and hopefully I get to see you and other content creators I watch/follow ..
I'd like to learn more about the Syndio and Reloop units. While I do love my physical gear, using AUM and apps on my iPad is immediate and super fun. A controller that hits that "goldilocks" size factor is very interesting to me!
@@Taetro If they're similar in size it'll probably be quite easy to 3D print a pair of feet or something for the back of the Keypad Pro that also holds up the Seqtrak at a good angle. Would be a really sweet looking piece of kit, that!
Awesome video. Thanks for taking time to make it. I remember seeing you play around with the ERAE 2, do you still have one and if so, how are you liking it? I have hooked mine up to elektron gear and it has been a lot of fun! Cheers 🙂
tinez and the 2015 is the funniest shit. lol😂 i almost got the mpc key 61 or 37 instead of the digitakt2 last month, still planning to grab a mpc with keys in it sometime soon. the native stuff just makes it nicer. the way they changed key groups into a synth on the 3.0 update is probably the coolest part of namm and all gear right now. there are some absurd like kontakt number of key group presets and now they are all basically starting points for tweaking. also the amount of smart people who have designed their own key groups for the box over the years is legit af. so anyway, i think there is a legit hole in youtube for mpc content with your musical style. i spent a lot of time trying to find mpc youtubers who made things a left of center, beside jon wayne, and a few other stand outs, didn't have much luck. so yeah, good spot imo.
MPC 3.0 is something enticing me over to get a MPC also. The Force almost did it when they had a DAW function, but feel they have properly fine tuned it with the MPC 3.0 update. I also liked the idea of a MPC just not the work flow... now with MPC 3.0 it's a lot more at my speed now. Atmos functions later on would be good... would need use of a class-complainant USB interface to get enough outputs currently, but who knows what is coming down the line later on... Maybe a Force 2 type unit??
Weirdly they have not yet put a looper into a turntable and the Korg one is very limited and might be out done quite quickly if other companies doing the same thing adds this future to their portable scratch turntable. Usually loop functions have been in the mixers or software and the portable DJ turntables have had the crossfader but not looping functions, but have become quite common to be used. Although this one is quite basic in the loop function and only a few more features need to be added to completely out do this one... a looper and one of these tables will greatly out do it... you can also only loop the turntable not the inputs and the turntable does not have a start stop button, it goes the second you bring the needle towards it. Something you want to be in control of when scratching.
The mpc x can be used as a sound design synth man. Specially with the NI stuff. I mean, you can theoretically replace hybrid workflows like waldorf iridium. I might get one over a moog muse.
Great show, Finally got my MPC powered up, as they were switching it up in bug fixes I was waiting for the public release of 3. So I did other things.Looking forward to content on that. That Controller looks very interesting and having gotten my Apc 40 back and seeing it doesn't completely work with Bitwig, that new controller might be just what I want. Is it released or is it imminent?
@@Taetro Thanks. That one comes with high recommendations. Its the only one I have used in Windows. I spend most of my time in the Linux world. I have an Akai MPC Key 61 but I bought it just for the great collection of sounds that I use for sound tracks.
Hi I was having trouble properly connecting the mvave smk 25 controller to garage band. Whenever I use it the only thing that works is the piano and the pads, could you make a video about how to do it. I use garage band on an ipad if that helps.
As if DJing wasn't weird enough, now Dj's are going to be wearing VR headsets during their sets. LOL Next generation DJ's will just stand there behind the desk waving their hands while an AI bot performs the whole set for them.
Synido Tempo pad C16 looks really cool. I have their tempopad 16...but looking for bigger more responsive pads...lol and I already knew you would have it to test out lol
@ anything. It’s all rehash same stuff different color every year. Namm used to be about showcasing the most unique and mind blowing next product. Now, it’s just fall in line because consumers will buy it anyways.
try to name all the artist cameos!! 🤩
Ricky Tinez!!! 😎

Thanks for stopping by! We appreciate your opinion about the Reloop Keypad Pro.
Love you, man! I'm 62 and dig your content.
thanks so much jeff!!
Gonna put me on blast like that? 😂 awesome video Taetro!!❤
heheh throwing it back to 2015
made me laugh and now I'm gonna check you out on here so it's not all bad.
9:35 .... You are the 1st channel that I've seen cover this product, but I don't know why because this is a no-brainer for hobbyist/producers! Awesome Job!
That new Synido controller looks fire. Would love a comparison with the Machine Micro when you get around to reviewing it

That Reloop controller is very interesting. So was the other one. I like how they're moving toward giving us more DAW control here.
I'm really loving that trend too!
Stevie Wonder wandering is crazy work! hahahha Great Vid :)

both look like excellent contenders for that. will post more with both when I can
That Keypad Pro looks like a good fit for a Seqtrak or such!
true!! might be a great partner for hardware

I hope one day soon I can enjoy the experience at NAAM meeting my favorite YT creators and industry musicians
NAMM is basically the CES of music gear
Awaited video!!!
Nice swag bag T, looking forward to the demos.
The reloop controller looks exactly like a 90$ controller on Amazon I bet it’s the same just a different name.
Which one??
I need that reloop controller!!
:)

enjoy!

Yeah I did!! 😄😄
WOOHOO 2015! HAHAHAHAH great intro
🥳🫶🏽🎶 It’s always more special when we get to see each other!!! Love you!
love spending time with you guys!! love you all!
wow thats awesome

That reloop controller for 250....it'll be mine soon.
I already know I can't resist so why try
haha it was an instant buy for me
Please give us feedback when you try it out!
the ultimate test for recovering GAS addicts

the reloop controller is available! think it will be great if you're using bitwig
Been meaning to pick an artinoise recorder up!
...so im def getting the handytraxxx
saw ni saw arturia saw my good homies qbert rh kendo need that lil daw form reloop namm was sick
I think I need a Roto Control now.
I feel that more producer will get into dj’ing soon
I'm curious, for you, what workflow clicks?
Ableton Live

What was the midi controller in the box that you were waiting to open? The reloop one?
yes the keypad pro by reloop

Thanks for sharing. Does Air Wave work with any other controller or only with lumi?
❤
You should have checked the korg multi poly
We should start a DJ duo LOL
🪩🕺🕺🪩
Star wars will always be a way cooler reference
Reloop Keyboard with a glued Korg Nano Control above... 🙃 looks so cheap. 😅
felt good to me 🤷 and doesn’t skimp on functionality
That 4-module MIDI controller > is Bluetooth BI-DIRECTIONAL? or only INPUT like everybody else?
Artinoise recorder flute
the reloop looks nice, BUT, they Fked up the size on the keybed. simple looks too small and narrow .
@2:23 Stevie Wonder??
He’s there every year!
I've seen you in Sanjay-C's video, LOL

All this stuff seems pretty boring this year. The keyboard that does the theramin thing is interesting kinda, for a software midi controller.
11:11 charge your phone with a midi controller? You're out of your mind dude 🤦♂️
I thought that was kinda funny 😆
That midi wind controller is awesome!
can't wait to dig in with it
Sad to say it’s been disappointing. Most of this tech could just as easily be from 2005.
Synido Tempo pad C16 looks really cool. I have their tempopad 16...but looking for bigger more responsive pads...lol and I already knew you would have it to test out lol
for sure!!!!
Cool bt pad box, very interested
Namm is over. No more innovative stuff. This Namm looked like 1983 with everything being vintage inspired
What kind of innovation would you like to see in the industry
@ anything. It’s all rehash same stuff different color every year. Namm used to be about showcasing the most unique and mind blowing next product. Now, it’s just fall in line because consumers will buy it anyways.

All of this is for soft musicians. So not real
you're so hard randy!!
Thanks
thanks for watching!
