If anyone is looking for the types of knots she’s using here it is: The strings are each tied to the ring using larks head knots. To make the diamond shape: - She splits the cords down the middle to make 2 sections. For each section she uses double half hitch knots starting from the inner 2 cords to the outer cord. - Then she goes back to the inner cord and repeats, leaving out one less cord each time until she has the half diamond shape. - Repeat this process on both sections - Then she goes to the outer most cord of each section and uses double half hitch knots coming back to the middle to finish out the diamond. - place the 1st bead on the 2 middle strings and make the 2nd diamond following the same method above. - The second bead is secured with a square knot Layer of beads - Split it down the middle again and use the inner 4 strings on both sections to create a single square knot about 8 cm down. - Then measure 8 cm down from those knots and create 2 square knots on the outer sections of 4 strings. - Place beads under each of the 4 new knots and secure them with a square knot. First layer of basket - take the center 4 cords and create a square knot 8 cm down from the lowest beads. - Repeat twice using the 4 cords on either side of that knot - You should have 2 strings left on each side. Pull them around to create your final square knot and first layer of the basket 2nd and 3rd layers of basket - so now use alternating square knots separated by 8 cm to create the 2nd layer. - Then repeat for the 3rd layer Tassel - Tie the ends together with a gathering knot. Cut your tassel to be even if you prefer!
If I may add some constructive criticism? I am a complete beginner at macrame and the lack of clear view camera angles, aswell as any slow motion step by steps on HOW you made the knots, did make following along with this incredibly difficult. I must have spent at least 2 hours just trying to figure out how to start the first one to make it look like yours. (I did manage to make them, not as well as yours but I'm happy for a first attempt!) I would be eager to see if you post any more macrame tutorials but hopefully they can be a little slower and more concise in future!
@@mayamukerjee5773 have you tried slowing down the play speed to it's lowest setting? It took me a while but having the pause button and a slow play speed helped quite a bit! Keep trying! You'll get it!
@@mayamukerjee5773 same for me, I checked on other videos with "Basic Macrame Knots" that helped. You need to pull the back string in front, that's the secret
Thank you for this tutorial very cute designs! Just curious though why didn't you (on the first hanger) do the spiral after you did the first part with the existing strings your working with before the second part? Seemed like an extra step to hot glue and have extra strings to add after the fact? I hope you don't mind me asking..
This has so many views because people need to keep replaying it... your speed up and hand positions make it so some can't view the knots or strings you're using.
Hi friends. what you need i) The first one cord (3mm)6 x 320cm,1 x 60cm,3x180cm Wooden rings (70mm) x 2pcs Wooden beads (16mm) x 6pcs ii) Second one Cord (3mm) 8 x 320cm Wooden rings (70mm) x 2pcs Wooden beads (16mm) x 6pcs 🥰🥰
If you could name the knots you use! Each time, maybe just the name when using them so we can just look it up instead of everyone asking you to go slower!😁
Very nice macarme plant hanger I have a cord with a thickness of 5 mm, and I want to make it like this plant hanger. Do I need to change the lengths, please clarify?
What size pots did you use? Is there a way to account for different sized pots in the event I were to make one with bigger or smaller planter? Thank you! (These are beautiful, by the way!!!)

Hi! At 4:52 in the video you show a much longer portion before you measure down. How many rows are there? And it looks like the pattern changes a bit too, how did you do this? I’m following along and I’ve just completed the 6th row and not sure what to do next???
It's a good video tutorial. I think you should watch basic knots tutorial first and then watch this again. It's easy when you already know the knots to make this. Be thankful that someone is uploading tutorial like this. Just saying. ✌️
If I may add another constructive criticism…you went to “fast” with no instructions….. hard to see what u we’re doing… as u were far from the project..

I am going insane trying the figure out the first knot after they’re on the hoop 🤣😫

YES! I thought I was the only one having trouble watching this super fast tutorial with almost no clear view :(
I had this same experience, I'm a beginner and found this video quite difficult to follow, but yes slowing down the speed helped a lot!
Very cute designs but not so useful as a tutorial since you don't show how to make the knots or at least name them
I wish I’d have read the comments first, as I wouldn’t have started and cut my cord. This tutorial is extremely hard to follow along for a beginner
I could not follow this, way too fast. Sad because it is a very cute design
Those are so beautiful
Thank you so much for sharing
Lovely NEAT lots of 💓💓💓💓💓 from Mumbai ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lovely patterns and great video
Hermoso..y lo entendí muy bien 👍..gracias desde mi país Chile 🇨🇱

Hello. Mekkora virág cserép ajánlott hozzájuk?
Am I missing where you say the supplies list? How long each cord is?
Amei
Very nice macarme plant hanger
I have a cord with a thickness of 5 mm, and I want to make it like this plant hanger. Do I need to change the lengths, please clarify?
What size will they end up being? How long are they? 1,5 meter?
I liked the beads and macrame unfortunately with very frustrating with very little instructions
Beautiful hanger, terrible tutorial, way too fast. No teaching going on here
Hi....Do you sell them....If Yes would you mind sharing the price
If I use 4mm cord .. how much more longer should I take?
Hi friends.the length is about the same.
You’re way to fast on the knots for beginners!
17min10 ça va beaucoup trop vite pas le temps de voir correctement le noeud
😍😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤😘😘😘
Hi! Love the video, what type of cord you use?
Hi friends,It’s Macrame cord and thanks your like.
What size pots did you use? Is there a way to account for different sized pots in the event I were to make one with bigger or smaller planter? Thank you! (These are beautiful, by the way!!!)
Hi my friends,
The flower pot is 5.3inch x 5.7inch.
My plant hanger can used for biggest size for 7inch x 8inch and smaller size is
3.5inch x 4inch.
What size wooden beads have you used?
Hi friends.16mm per bead.
OK I just went back to the beginning and realize that every three rows you flip it back to front. Beginner mistake I guess
Thank youuuu! Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong... 🤦♀
How many yards are needed for this project please
Hi friends. what you need

Repeat that same pattern
Don't understand the beginning you go to fast
What's the full length of this plant hanger?
Hi friends.
The first plant hanger is 90cm and second is 96cm.
Easier if you explain…I need talking videos!
You going to fast, i am new in macramé and i can see the knots because you go to fast. Your video is not good.
You can slow it down in settings
push the 3 dots in the corner, push "play back" and choose "0.25×"
dont be so rude its a good video
It’s a good tutorial.. you can try to play the video at a slower speed if you need
It's a good video tutorial. I think you should watch basic knots tutorial first and then watch this again. It's easy when you already know the knots to make this. Be thankful that someone is uploading tutorial like this. Just saying. ✌️

Unfortunately, I can't get through the first knot. I know it has to be such a simple knot, but you are way too fast.
Way too fast to follow
