hi , thanks for your video's. they are great. very imformitive and no gimmicks. could I make a request / suggestion. check if the TV has any decent english channels. because sometimes you just want to chill in your room for a coupe of hours and there is nothing worse than having a large TV , but no english speaking channels or crap quality.. Thanks G
I've stayed at the March Hotel many times, most recently November '24. Excellent hotel for the price, I got a discount on Agoda. The rooms are very quiet and there's plenty of storage space for your holiday clothes. The Soi 16 which leads down towards the hotel is very safe at night, yes there's a few soi dogs hanging about but just carrying on walking and ignore them and they will not bother you . 5 minute walk to Pattaya Klang, 5 minutes down to Second Road via Soi 5 on the right hand side. Most of the video is from the May Hotel which I've never stayed in, might try it next year .
Thanks for your comments, I booked the March hotel on Agoda as well but they put me in the May Building, I agree it was an excellent hotel for the price, Will definitely book again, I had no problem with the soi dogs when I stayed.
Just joined your channel as watching your review I really enjoyed your approach a nice blend of info and great choice of Music also. When you gave the video of location up Soi 16 off Klang I thought this was a great touch then to cap it off I looked to see if you had included what camera you were using and you had even out that down below which for me sealed my purchase decision for the DJI Action 5 when I arrive in Pattaya next month. Thank you Paul, Terry.
I have stayed there 3 times, excellent hotel for the money, the best point is location, being in a dead end you get no traffic noise and there are no noisy bars nearby.
I have stayed at the March Hotel several times. Before staying at this hotel, I had booked a higher-end hotel. However, after the end of Covid-19, the hotel prices in Pattaya have risen dramatically, and I chose the March Hotel to spend my money more reasonably, and I think it was a good decision. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no convenience store like 7/11 around. Other than that, everything is good. I will visit Pattaya again for 2 weeks in August next year, and the March Hotel is on the list of hotels to choose. This hotel is very friendly to Koreans like me.
Have stayed there 3 times or rather twice, the 3rd time they sent me through to the May hotel, which to my relief was even better/newer than the March. You can use either hotel's pool too. I think you were in the May's pool Paul?
Top hotel ? Context: I have stayed for about 90 nights total in Thailand. I have stayed in 8 hotels in the Pattaya area and one AirBNB and I would probably rank this place number 4 or 5 out of those and I paid the most for it of any. The positives are the location and they give you towels at the pool for the pool and seperate towels for your room. This is rare in Thailand. Negatives, This is the only place to ask me for a deposit (5000 as I recall) I stayed in 2023. The pool is one of the smallest of the places I stayed. The Soi Dogs down that alley (gang of 5 or 6) acted like they were going to attack one morning around 2 or 3 in the morning (very dark alley) and I finally had to run at the leader and hope I did not get bit and hope he backed down. This is the only time I actually felt like I was going to get attacked. I love dogs and have never had this problem with the hundred or so other soi dogs I have encountered in Thailand. The gym is a joke and the bar area around the pool was never open the entire time I stayed there. The staff was middle of the road but most places I have stayed had better staff that were wanting to be helpful and nicer. I stayed in several places that included breakfast that cost less
@@paulsgetaways The Grass Serviced has a full kitchen suite and great pool and gym. Excellent staff. I have stayed two different times. The first time equaled about $23 a night and the second time they invited me back and I stayed for $17 a night. Also, 24 hour security. They have both hotel and permanent places to stay. Two other places I loved were in Jomtien which I think is superior for night markets. I also think Glow is a great value. I also stayed in a place that was only about $15 a night that was better for location, pool and staff but room was not as good and the WIFI was not as good as March
I stayed in August...great place and staff were amazing. The only trouble I encountered was on my last night when I was set upon by 7 soi dog's by the motorcycle taxis. I didn't run i just screamed at them and stamped my foot. They soon left but was very close to getting bitten. But in saying that i would stay again
I stayed at the March in 2018, it's a super place and super clean. The location is Soi 15 Pattaya Klang ,not as you said. Can't understand anyone complaining about the safety of It's location, just stupid.
@@keithredshaw3330 2019 it was marketed as a separate hotel next to March Hotel. I stayed there was very impressed. Now it is not on any option list so I thought it had been mothballed due to lack of visitors.

Noted, I will try to add that in future. They had good sports channel from what I remember.
I’m staying here in December first time for me too

Thanks Terry, hope you enjoy Pattaya when you arrive 😃
Thanks for the review, I want to come in April for Songkran. I was looking at this hotel along with the Holiday Inn express, and The Stay
All great hotels, it comes down to location, do you want to be in the centre of the action or on the outskirts? 💦🔫
@@paulsgetaways Want to be close to the action, but not right on top of it, and within walking distance to the beach.
I would go for the March, it's about a 8-10 minute walk to Soi6 and beach road, but you will get wet on the way 🔫

Great review, wonder if it's booked out over Xmas?
A lot of the good hotels get booked up early 🎄🎄
Just joined your channel, congratulations,
Thanks and welcome 😁
How was the WiFi ? Free ? Speed ?
The hotel free WiFi was great, I was able to do a video call without any lag.😄
Have stayed there 3 times or rather twice, the 3rd time they sent me through to the May hotel, which to my relief was even better/newer than the March. You can use either hotel's pool too. I think you were in the May's pool Paul?
Yes I was in the May, it was my first stay at the hotel. I will definitely be going back.
Is this hotel guest friendly?.. thanks in advance 🙏👍
Best value hotel in pattaya! It's unbelievably clean. I'm pissed you showed it. I wanted to keep it a secret 😅
Sorry about that, no longer Pattaya's best kept secret 🤣🤣
On my list to visit cheers
It's a good one 😁
Great video.. how far is 7Eleven from this hotel ?
You need to walk back to the main road and turn left it's about a 5 minutes walk
Was going to ask the same thing to I seen this msg
Is this hotel guest friendly..?
Yes I Believe it is 😁😁
Considering the price you pay to stay at the March hotel , it is excellent value for money , I’ve stayed there many times , it is really nice .
Yes I agree, it was the first time I stayed there, it won't be the last 😎

Pool looks good, can you get food and drink sitting in the pool area?
The pool area was great, I think there was a bar, but I didn't order any drinks.
@@markdumbrell2618 you can ask the girl at the pool bar for a coffee or a beer and she’ll make a phone call and it will be with you in a few minutes .

I did see two soi dogs, but there certainly wasn't any more than that perhaps they've been moved on. 😁
Did it have a quite AC unit?
Yes I didn't hear the AC all night

1100 Baht? Amazing as you mentioned- did u try the restaurant ? Any food comment ?
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, low season, perhaps they're not doing breakfast at the moment. There are a few restaurants close by 😁
Can I wash my clothes at this hotel and or other hotels in thailand?
Most hotels have laundry service. There are also many laundries nearby.
Can you walk to soi buakow from this hotel ?
Yes it a 6 minute walk...5 if you are not fat.
It’s only about a 5 minute walk , crossing the road at Pattaya Klang can be a ball ache tho .
Yes, I did it's about 6 minutes at the most.
@@paulsgetaways I’m either slightly fitter than you Paul or spotted a clean gap in the traffic , it took me 5 minutes 😂
If you're lazy there are bike taxis just on the corner from hotel
That was The May hotel I guess that have joined in to the March and made it all in one...
That is correct 😁😁
It was always that way

Not much room for sunbathing by the pool.
Not a great deal, there was about 6 - 8 sun loungers ☀️☀️
Just like any other Pattaya/Beach Road hotel , "big TV' 🙄by english standard only !.
I think it's a big TV by hotel standards 😎😎
Not on beach road
So easy to get mugged at night in this Dark Lane Way ..I would not walk at night there AGAIN
Don't BS, you obviously never been in Thailand !.
I think it's a fairly safe soi, they were massage shops and places open everywhere.
@@anthonyjames5966 I’ve walked down many dark alleys in Patts , it’s safe as houses , never had a problem !
