Just do it. dive in and drill. then play for you good bad or ugly, get a tune and jam. You will thank yourself in 10 years, when you jam with friends or strangers and just smile. It takes practice, promise yourself 2 hours a day for 1 month. Play a simple song after one week and record it. Record yourself playing the same song after every week or two. you will be suprised.

I played for 2 years violin and quit with only 14 yrs old (now 22) and everytime I see something beautiful like that I'll recognize that I should never had quit. Its so amazing to play an instrument!! (btw she's inspirin me to play again)

I was 6 yrs old when my father asked if I would like to learn how to play the piano accordion (we were looking at accordions in a shop window). I said yes and started taking lessons. I was't a genius, was moderately good when I stopped playing aged 14. I didn't like it much because when I wanted to go out and play my father made me practice instead - not an unusual story. However, when I was in my 60s I bought a new accordion and started playing again. Not only have I improved immensely, I have developed a passion for the instrument. When i play it is like meditating, I drift into a world of my own ... beautiful.
So, Praveen Je, get back to your instrument. And, most importantly, Play the music you love. If that is classical then great, But play popular music, too, if that is what brings you joy.

If you play an instrument, you can tell when they first start playing together that they are both learning very hard to how each other plays in order to compliment each other. The piano guy is also repeatedly amazed at what the violinist is doing, which says to me he has never heard this women play before as he is gradually finding out where she can take them. Pretty cool and quite an amazing musical journey.

Those artificial harmonics at the end damn. A lot of people say this is staged, but if you know the chord progression/key of the song, have as much skill as her, and as much performance experience as her (assuming cus of the pickup she has installed under her tailpiece), this is totally possible impromptu

it is staged, that much is obvious, but the musical performance itself is impromptu, just not the meeting of the 2 musicians who are 2 youtubers collaborating to make a prearranged video.

Haha so he just happens to carry around a specialist violin pickup mic compatible with his equipment and her violin, all the time 24/7, just in case a wild violinist appears?
But in case basic critical thinking is beyond you, there's posts on his social media (including a Facebook video) featuring Ada dated from long before this. And other commenters say they do this "stranger" act in other cities, so it's clearly a thing they just do.
Still a cool performance and a clever idea though.
