This is the first time I've heard it. I found it after googling Top 100 songs of 1997 in the UK and not recognising the name. I grew up in Australia and don't think it was released there.
Just turned 63 , lived through the finest musical decades, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Thanks to John Peel I started to get into house and trance in the mid 90's and on new years eve1999 I went to meet a mate of mine to get some acid.. He couldn't get any but asked me if I'd be interested in a pill instead. After Old Lang Syne I was walking home and happened to be walking past a nightclub and could hear the beat through the walls so I went inside. It was the start of 3 years of pills and being the first on the dance floor and the last off and this amazing track was part of that journey. To say I feel privileged is an understatement..
When this song came on... I just couldn't get off the dance floor! Young people will never party as hard as we did back in the late 90's and early 2000's... All weekend long!!!

And it may seem a bit nitpicking, but I still personally don't like to label all electronic music as techno, cause techno is it's own subgenre and it's a big part of the history of all electronic music. I do like the early 90's trance, so I don't want to take anything away from it, but real techno is so different from it. Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, B12, etc. are real techno and they sound very different from trance.
