Yup Ryan Murphy. I have a 2009 Yaris sedan. I changed mine a few years ago. I used the oem toyota pink Hoat coolant. The dude even said in this video it was the original 14 year old coolant and lasted that well. Didn’t look dirty and held up. It’s a 7 year or 100 thousand mile whichever cokes first coolant. It’s amazing stuff. He should’ve just spent the extra couple
Bucks and got it from Toyota. I spent $20 here in Illinois for mine when I changed it couple years back.

The engine block drain plug is under the exhaust manifold which can be loosened/tightened with a 10mm socket. YES, I'll replace drained coolant with Toyota brand PINK coolant.

@4:41 you mention that the system self-burps. Could you tell me where you could see the burp happening?
FYI, I flushed and replaced my coolant on my 2003 Toyota Echo last night and saw it burp in the coolant reservoir by itself while the engine was running.

I also want to mention the Supertech coolant you used is excellent. It's manufactured by Prestone and I've personally used it in many different vehicles for well over a decade and hundreds of thousands of miles with no problems whatsoever. It has superior heat transfer properties compared to OEM Toyota coolant in that it doesn't have any phosphates in it.

@@natsimeb1755 Flush the system again and put in 50/50 red asian coolant. You have to use distilled water ONLY when you add water - but always use 50/50 whether you mix or purchasing already mixed. Your water pump may be semi seized making it hard to start thanks to particulates in tap water. Do flush and refill with right stuff then try removing the belt and turning the water pump by hand to investigate, get it turning and then put belt back on and start it up. If not starting make sure there is not another problem going on, including damaged thermostat which you may then have to replace. Drain and save 50/50 coolant you added, change thermostat and then readd and start up.

The OEM SLLC coolant can last 4 years or 80K miles.
That yellow stuff (coolant) can last 2 years, which is not a long life coolant.
I rather go for the every 4 years cycle change with the ORM coolant.

you have not done a full flush. YOU NEED TO GO AND DRAIN FROM THE BLOCK. IT'S UNDER THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD 10MM VERY EASY TO REACH. DONT BE FULLED BY THE MANUAL PHOTO THAT MAKES YOU THINK IT'S IN THE FRONT BY THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. IT'S BEHIND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. THAT'S HOW YOU DO A FLUSH. YOU NEED TO GET ALL THAT DISTILED WATER FROM THE BLOCK. IT WILL NEVER COME OUT UNLESS YOU DRAIN THE BLOCK.
ALSO YOU NEED PINK COOLANT, NOT GREEN. LEANR HOW TO DO STUFF AND GO BACK TO HE MANUAL, THEN YOU CAN TEACH PEOPLE. I CAN SEND YOU THE PDF IF YOU DONT HAVE IT. WITH SOME THINGS IN THE TOYOTA AND OTHER CARS YOU HAVE TO USE OEM STUFF. ONE OF THOSE THINGS IS THE COOLANT IN TOYOTA AND HEAD GASKET.
