Holy hecc, the stickers definitely make him look a lot more interesting. I understand the appeal of having a "cartoon come to life" from your childhood, but man... I think having "a toy from my childhood better than my memories" has more appeal to me.
Toy Prime has definitely grown on me in the last few years. Often if I'm just doodling an Optimus Prime drawing, I'll make him more toy-styled, with his weird long arms and flat chest. Also I think the yellow eyes are just better

I really like the look of the Super 7 figures, but I always find them a bit disappointing in hand. I absolutely loved the look of ghost Starscream and bought him, but he just sits on a shelf now. Wish the figures had a bit more articulation to make up for the whole non transforming transformer thing. Great video as usual though, sir!
Yeah, I feel ya. It’s not really in super7’s wheelhouse to do the super complex joint-age that’s the norm for stuff like figuarts or threezero or mafex or whatever. I think its due to their choice of plastic material. Almost a thick fat boy pvc instead of a hallow abs. Ghost starscream was the first one I got and I’m a sucker for clears and sparkles but even so almost every other ultimates figure I’ve got from them has been on HEAVY discount lol
@NiStuff totally! I also picked up the clear purple Megatron, because that scene in the 86 movie is the best thing ever, and he was only 20 bucks. The packaging for the Super 7 bots is also immaculate, makes them feel super premium, but then the actual thing is a bit lacklustre. They're definetly good to fill a spot on a shelf, but not so good to mess with.
@NiStuff defo worth it if you can find him cheap. He's got all the internal mechanical detail in his chest, which is great. His arms and legs are completely clear, so that spoils the vibe just a bit.
