They hope you give them validation. It all happens subconsciously. Nobody tells unattractive quiet guys they're too quiet, it goes unnoticed. Even better when a woman you barely know tells you that they have a hard time understanding you. Everytime I've been told this it turned out that the woman was higly infatuated with me.
the other night i went to a club a a super beautiful Italian girl approached me and was very interested in me, i felt intimidated too because i could never have spected that such a beautiful girl was interested in me in that way. she asked me what were my plans and other questions that i dont wantred to respond and then she just went back to her friends and i went to the dancey zone. i understand now what girls that i have intimidated before feel.
