    We shouldn't not divide follwer rise into equal divison .... We have to divide into n² divisions and project n²th displacement interval to the nth ordinate of can displ. profile ....

    what shape would a cam take if the following must be satisfied.
    for every 9 degrees the follower must move up 1 cm until it reaches the first half of the rotation..and after reaching 20 cm max height with zero dwellbthe cam follower moves down 1 cm per 9 degress till it completes the rotation..

    Sir iam little bit confused at diving the circle according to the angles given

    • @ReferenceBook
      @ReferenceBook  5 лет назад

      Smily Bandaru ' if rise &fall are 90 then take 1cm =15deg so you get rise as 6cm in displacement diagram and divid the circle into 6 parts each 15deg. Same way for fall also

  • @maryamh1032
    @maryamh1032 4 года назад

    What if the rise and fall aren’t equal ? Like 120 and 190 ?

    • @ReferenceBook
      @ReferenceBook  4 года назад +1

      Divide the rise and fall into equal parts what ever may be the angle for example rise given 120, and fall 190 means 120/6 , 190/6. No need to divide 6 parts but better to divide into even divisions
