For what I would love to see: Outside of gameplay in fights & technical aspects: Change the controllable character outside of battles. I know that it is only a small thing but running around as Tifa & Co. would be great
I kinda wish Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie were playable characters unique from the main 4. It would've given the player a much greater attachment to them and therefore would've made their endings even more touching. NPC deaths are generally inconsequential to most players whereas the death of playable characters cuts most players. It's a good story telling tool that got overlooked in development.
That issue is really stupid. They deliberately made a big thing of that flower in Chapter 2 and 3. That's one important object concerning Cloud, Aerith, Tifa and Marlene. They should've used better textures in that scene.
@@jesterdayplays771 It's pretty obviously either an unintended lod bug or the result of hardware limitations, in which case wait for PC and PS5, I guess. There are even occasions where you'll see low and medium detail versions of the same assets side by side.

Its wildly important to me so I wanna do it justice, it just takes a lot of planning and... well, structuring :') I haven't forgotten about it, don't worry!
@@Clemps Personally, I just want to hear about why you love it. I haven't played Drakengard or Nier, but love your videos on them because it's such a genuine, personal love you seem to have for them. My favorite videos of yours are when you're telling a game's story that you're passionate about. Dino Crisis, FFTA, DrakenNier, Crisis Core/Dirge. Thanks for the videos, stay safe Clemps
One thing that surprises me is that no one talks about how there's no way to actually control your party members when they're under control of the CPU. Like, make them focus on the same enemy or a different enemy, make them either stay far away or stay close by, or even make them do nothing at all and stay at a distance
Holy shit. Been subscribed to you for over a year. This video is so good. Made me realize you are probably the best video game review channel out now. You are so funny, but you arent telling a million jokes they mostly come from your tremendous editing and sound effects. You do so many little things just to entertain the people that happen to catch it.(rock and a hard place) you arent screaming about anything and everything, because it doesnt warrant it. You come across as passionate, smart and informed without being dry and boring. It took me this long to realize it but you are really good at what you do and you should keep doing it as long as you can.
@@tainor89 There's no such fucking thing as the geometric shape "Cross" that's not a thing. It's not a fucking cross, it's an X, because a cross would be aligned so that the lines were vertical and horizontal.
And here I was just watching your Dirge or Cerberus video. Your FF content is so good my dude, thanks for all the great effort you put into them. Onto watch the video!!!
To be fair the rest of the face buttons are shapes and directions so we're wrong but.... Calling it the X button my whole life I have to join this lynch mob
@@user-fy3oy4vo9mI mean this might be because of where I live but whenever I hear someone call it the cross button my gut reaction is "a cross the lower case t that Jesus was nailed to! This is clearly an X"
Cross is also far less ambiguous. The 'X' button could be any one of three different places between PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo controllers. Then again I would go further and name the PlayStation buttons cross, ring, square and point. These are all single syllables that are easily distinguished from one another. Or alternatively you could choose to name them by the number of lines used for each shape, 1, 2, 3 and 4 ;)
18:51 For those interested in playing the original Playstation/PC/Steam version, gonna highly recommend The Reunion mod (includes the Beacause relocalization).
Hey Clemp, thanks, genuinely, for doing this video. I know you probably just did it because you wanted to but I was really apprehensive about FF7R from everything I've read about it and my special attachment to the original, and seeing you be completely honest and blunt about the game like this just feels nice and alleviates fears I had. I need to give the game a try, it doesn't have to be a 1:1 copy to be a good game.
Great video, mate. Love your editing chops. I'll be skipping the second video because of spoilers. I really liked the idea of story parts being a separate section.
I'm super duper excited to see all the characters' progression/backstories in the next installment and be able to play as Red in combat. I am in love with this story so much and cannot wait to see what is done from here on out
Yeessss! I'm very excited for the next part to see you cover the story, cause that's the reason why I'm just interested in this game now! Love the edits, they gave me a good laugh
I.... I didn't know there was a multi use function :( Fantastic video, looking forward to your story discussion! Especially 'cause I've seen the Foxcade podcast (highly recommend that one btw for anyone reading this) and agreed with all of your points regarding the story.
Surprised to see so many people didn't know multiuse was a thing. I noticed very early on. What actually took me until now to notice is that you can press triangle to save from the menu without going into Save/Load.
I got that feeling a lot too. I like this game a lot but it doesn't replace the original and I don't think they wanted it to. You might wanna look up the New Threat mode for the PC version if you haven't and you want a new FF7 to poke around in.
@@parker469a Yeah, they have said that they wanted both of the games to be two different things or well at least feel different but the same and can go back to play the original still if you wanted.
I really liked VIIR and enjoyed it- up until that ending. I spent the whole game marveling and wondering what they'll do in the next part, but now I'm just nervous that I won't like it.
I honestly don't think there's too much to worry about :) here's a quote from an interview in the new FF7R ultimania book: Question: "If we follow this Remake’s story, then the next installment might have major changes compared to the original, right?" Kitase: "I’ve talked about this extensively with Nomura, but I’m sure fans of the original are expecting to revisit familiar locations and scenes, so we have strong feelings to not stray away from that. From here on out, we’re not drastically changing the story and making it into something completely different than the original. Even though it’s a Remake, please assume that FF7 will still be FF7 as usual." *edit* Nojima added: "For me, I create scenarios that follow the general flow of the original story but with the assumption that the way things are presented or how events occur might be slightly different. "
@@Redyeti5 They already changed the fate of characters who previously died, so while I'm sure they'll keep the general plot beats from point-to-point, I wouldn't be surprised to see a *lot* of weird stuff on the way. Like, can the Wutai questline even happen? Shinra are super hostile towards them in this timeline.
Just remember this: disregarding the ending, it's blatantly obvious that a lot of love, care, and ridiculous amount of quality was put into this game. All the amazing characterization, story moments, attention to detail, music, and enjoyable gameplay....all of that will carry over and will be 100% in the next game regardless of whether the story changes they intend to implement end up being huge mistakes or pure genius. So if you look at it that way, it's bound to be an enjoyable ride even if it doesn't end up being perfect.
I get that. Half of me loves it and the other half hates it. I'm just letting the games take me for a ride and keeping an open mind. I'll probably end up loving it.
Thank you for bringing up the Mako Reactor theme. I had the same exact thought while playing the demo. I'm not exactly clear how much Uematsu was involved with the soundtrack here. I had the impression that he only really worked on the vocal track for the credits.
FYI there are bad texture popping issues even on a PS4 Pro. Also I'm really happy you noted the good cat graphics! You vindicated me because I was going on and on about them and my friends thought I was crazy.
I'm most looking forward to my boy Vincent and what they'll do with his limit breaks. Though as that's not until the second continent I don't think we'll get there in the next game if I'm honest. Also actually controlling Red XIII in combat.
I hope the transformations aren't limit breaks this time. Or if they are, then make it so they can be turned off. Nothing worse than Galian Beast healing Materia Keeper with no way to stop him.
@@TheSlammurai I was thinking about this earlier. I do think they should keep his limits as the transformations, though I definitely think removing the elemental affinity would be a good idea. So Vincent transforms and he loses access to items/magic just like original. This time however we can control him and he has a similar set up to the summons. He can attack, and he has access to a couple of special abilities so he's not completely out of our control. Whether it's a permanent state until the end of the fight or it's timed (again like the summons) l don't know. It'd be pretty cool too have a big flashy move when the timer runs out and he goes back to being Vincent again. They could of course just have him transform, do a special move, and then immediately go back to being Vincent. That would certainly be the easier option as otherwise they would have to create all the animation assets for controlling even more characters.
I hope Vincent has the ability to jump a hundred feet into the air to broodingly shoot his preposterous revolver at a helicopter and then shoot twenty more identical helicopters.
I also want to explore more beyond of Midgar in Part 2, and hopefully get the rest of the party together (mostly an excuse for me to thirst more on Vincent Valentine than I am), but I'm confident in the FF 7 Remake Project and Nomura's direction on where it will go, so I'm just overall excited and ready for Part 2! Great job on this video! Can't wait for the next one!
Tempest is amazing for either slow enemies or staggered enemies because it builds massive amounts of ATB and the staggered nature of the latter hits of it means you can get more than just 2 ATB actions in a row.
Great video as always. Btw about the textures, according to Maximilian dood, it's a bug and they're working on fixing it. If that's true I look forward to going back and finally seeing clouds door pop in.
@17:40 I personally want to see Costa Del Sol again. I have always loved beach/resort areas in games. I also hope we get to see Vincent Valentine again - I know we probably won't, but maybe we encounter him early (like how Yuffie could be encountered early in the oroginal game). I also want another variant of the "Fanservice Dress" scenes and have it be a Swimsuit scene with Tifa and Aerith. Have it be unlockable swim suits/swim trunks and other outfits (skins) for a New Game+ or something. Having Surfing, and/or Beach minigames (like volleyball) for a fun/goofy distraction like the dancing scene too. You earned a Like and a Subscription! AWESOME Review!
Whenever the game was recreating scenes and moments from the original, even if altered or different they were absolutely stunning and amazing. And whenever it went off on something completely new or that uhmm Yknow which plotline im talking about. It was pretty abysmal. Such a mixed bag. This game woulda been 10/10 if they stuck to the script. And also if the enemies and bosses had less HP. some of those fights go on for WAAAY too long.
The better you know how to handle them, the quicker their HP bars melt. In general, switching between characters frequently (and not getting thrown off your rhythm while doing so) makes them far more efficient death dealers, but each enemy has their own tricks you can exploit. Also, someone still owes Cloud a pizza.
I'm excited to explore red's and cloud's home towns. The character interaction is soo wonderful in this game that just giving them something to talk about ooozes charm.
I can't wait to see how the other characters will control! I love how all four of the playable heroes all play differently in fights, and I'm super-excited to see Red and Yuffie in particular.
Mild Spoilers regarding the Ending of the remake: As someone that has heavily mixed feelings regarding the ending and the "defying fate" plot line, i'm at the same time giddy with joy and excitement, yet filled with potential dread, Maybe Sephiroth wont be the big bad, maybe Jenova will have a more active role in the story? Will Aerith still get skewered? Will there be more fake-out dream scenes? Is the extra fluff from the compilation going to be shoe-horned into this? WHAT THE FUCK WILL THEY DO WITH ZACK? You just cant turn your eyes away from a good train wreck, and with the way this is going, it will probably be the biggest train wreck possible, i am almost 100% expecting Genesis and the Sephiroth Brothers to show up during the next game, with Angel and Dirge of Cerberus Vincent in all of their post Kingdom Hearts Nomura Glory. I'm all in for Nomuras Wild ride, and I am expecting we will reach some Kingdom Hearts and Rebuild of Evangelion type of Shenanigans. Final Fantasy 7.77 YOU CAN(NOT) REMAKE will be one hell of a beautiful train wreck. The mere thought of it fills me with hope an despair All aboard Nomura's wild ride, we are going at 100000 miles per hour,multi-track drifting and the brakes have been removed, one way or another it will be glorious.
Qaztim Eleven oh it’s a ducking trainwreck. And since Sony owns Naughty Dog and is actively pissed with them, I’m predicting they might have a talk with SE since the remake is a PS4 exclusive and Sony desperately cares about their sales now after the ending for the remake has been controversial atm
Maybe it's not septhiroth. I remember in the original, jenova broke away pieces of itself to form septhiroths to push forward the reunion to awake the real septhiroth. He's still the big baddie. Don't worry.
Fun video. As always you did well on the skits. I made my own FF7R review and it was kinda neat we both took the bait of making a cheap unreal engine joke. Keep doing as you do!
Two things I'm hoping they keep for this remake. 1: the different Bahamut summons I personally enjoyed these because it not only showed that Bahamut was prominent in every aspect, but also diversed him as not just a singular entity, almost like a species. 2: The Jenova fights I think this is self-explanatory
Can't wait to how the rest of the crew plays! Looking forward to seeing how they hit all the upcoming story beats, particularily how Wutai will be now, given all the emphasis. That will play in big come Junon Harbour. One quality of life change? Give us a master list of unlocked weapon properties to easily take stock of all the "soft" stat changes (mana regen, buff/debuff duration, etc).
There's a reason I've come to love this channel. Clemps is weird as shit but so fucking loveable. He's like that redheaded sibling everyone knows is adopted but loved regardless. Your review is bang on. It's really unfathomable how lifelike the characters are. The goddamn dogs react to your presence! The dog!! It moved its head when I ran by. It telescoped my movements. The amount of care/attention it must've taken to do this should be illegal. Then there's the banter; the shinra stair sequence dialogue had me in tears. Barret acts black. Not stereotypically black, actually black. Amazing. The NPC's are quite diverse in age/gender/race. Which is a welcome addition without pushing a narrative. Didn't have an issue with the story because I've all but forgotten the nuances of the first game. 97 was a long time ago, couldn't appreciate a great story at 12. Was much more concerned with flashy moves and battling/summons. Don't remember the original anyway. The battle system is incredible. Combining turn base and action elements cohesively is no small feet. Tifa plays like a monk, barret a tank, cloud a swordsman and aerith a mage. They're all very unique and play entirely differently. Some are better suited for a particular situation. More importantly, the game forces the player to explore each character, at least on a superficial level. The multitude of choices; attacking, healing, blocking, switching, staggering, movement patterns, etc can initially become overwhelming. But some hours in the Colosseum, understanding each characters nuances makes combat extremely pleasurable. The difference between playing correctly and not is massive. Spamming attacks will get you killed. Very few games manage to reward/punish player without changing difficult. Fights can be a 10s faceroll or 10 minute struggle for life. All depends on player choice. My only gripe was the lack of it. Replaying on harder difficulty - skipping the cutscenes exposes how combat light the main campaign is. Hopefully, subsequent releases changes that. The summon's were great, even though they obviously cut Bahamut's megaflare animation. Wasn't too happy with that. It's not like I'm a big fan or anything.. Overall 9+. God of war was better. Best game I've ever played actually. Like you, the low resolution graphical short falls were stark, especially since the majority of the game is absolutely gorgeous. Did I mention, the character models have ankles!?! Ankles... Just wow.
My bigest complaint is that, outside of you controling them, your party does pretty much nothing in combat. I had multiple moments where Barret, for no reason, ran in the middle of a group of enemies and died a few seconds later. So in the next game I hope they implement some sort of "behaviour setting" for the non player controlled characters, giving you the option to have them use some of their abilities without your direct control, or be more defensive/agressive. Another thing I'd like implemented is the ability to use multiple commands in the command menu, it's simple but it's something that bothered me while in combat.
I agree. It's wierd that party members can barely fill an ATB charge, which negates the whole concept of commanding a team and giving orders to other party members.
Ever since last year's E3 presentation, I haven't stopped thinking about this game's combat. And it delivers. Big time. I cannot wait for even more options with materia, weapon customization, and skill expression in the coming games. It is going to be incredible. I hope we get to have equipment with even more and more slots so we can build stat beast juggernauts! I'm chomping at the bit for new about part 2 now. Honestly, FF7R might be my new favorite game.
After just finishing the game a few hours ago, I wonder how many hands were holding Nomura back from drawing a little colon in the title of Remake to make the title Re:Make. As for your question, I'm really curious to see how Wutai pans out since it'll more than likely become a mandatory section of the game with how much they mention it in part 1.
For flying enemies: The material we need for this I believe is already in the original. The "Float" spell. For padding: Was wondering how we were gonna grind levels with no random encounters. I think maybe that's it.
What about the Long Range Materia? Originally first available in the Mythral Mines, which conveniently happens to be the first dungeon after Midgar in FF7. The image of Cloud casually slicing out blade beams like those in the motorcycle sections and Tifa punching out balls of ki is an exciting prospect. The kicker, though, would be that just like Magnify in part one, there's only a single copy of the Materia available, so you have to pick who gets to melee from a distance.
I need team attacks in the second part that cost atb for every member involved. Also, brief summons, as in, just the final attack (that costs a chunk of mp and atb) to use against trash mobs in dungeons or overworld, but still have the option for regular summons in boss battles. And the option to switch characters mid battle (maybe two atb bars and once per battle).
As someone who never played the original (but still watched Advent Children with zero context and still enjoyed it) and never fully committed to FF games in general, I'm honestly pumped to give the remake a go based on what I've seen, flaws and all. Plus, the casting is great in both the English and Japanese versions. It honestly made me fall in love with Aerith and Tifa every bit as much as the character writing did.
I have never played final fantasy 7, I've played almost every other game in the series but when I heard the remake was coming out I waited for it- and I love it.
I didn't enjoyed it as much as i wanted to, I don't like action RPGs and what they offered didn't impress me, the battles were too long, I'm sure that for does that liked the system were excited for battles but to me it felt like a drag, also, maybe it's just me but I felt that they really focused the fights on staggering the opponet, like I didn't do to much damage unless I stagger them which makes sense but it felt weird for me, but my biggest problem in combat was the camera, some times it wouldn't let me see the enemies or will spin in some battles. The secondary missions felt like filler, sure you get to see around Midgar and interact with it's citizens but that didn't feel like a reward to me. The dungeons (at least the majority) really drag on and on, it felt like they were stretching them just to have more content. But for things I enjoyed, the interactions, I loved the Jessie back story and I hope they do something similar going forward, the materia system was perfect and I find the character's unique modes really interesting and give you an incentive to switch characters ( something that I actually enjoyed about battles) I'll give my opinions on the story in your next video, looking forward for it.
I can't wait to hear clemps's thoughts on the nobod- i mean time ghosts that spoil character moments then later redact them, that is literally the only thing that has me worried for the rest of the game, how much influence will the ghosts have? will nomura pull a 'save aerith' moment only to be countered by his time ghosts? that would be the best/worst thing imaginable and I can't wait.
16:05 By that token, you could say it’s great that the game has grown up alongside you. Now you’re an adult it nicely reflects a change in perspective.
What I'm looking forward to most is more character interaction. Its my absolute favorite and i really want to see more interaction with the other characters introduced later in the story
Could someone please be a kindred soul and say what's the name of the game at 2:54 , i've been trying to remember it's name for more than one month. I've seen it in a random top whatever ps1 jrpgs, but no matter how hard i search for it, i just can't find it.
Looking forward to more Materia depth, especially having multiple support ones like Elemental and Magnify. Also I like your idea of Acrobatic Materia. Aerial combat was kinda.... frustrating to put it in friendly terms.
I need to know more about the next episodes before getting invested in the remake. Is it going to have a world map? Is it going to be another hallway simulator? Is it going to end with them getting on the boat to Costa Del Sol or are they going to hurry through the rest of the story?

Seriously. Hard to believe Sony revealed this alongside Last Guardian AND Shenmue III.
Prepare to wait actual 84 years to play the whole story...
Fantastic editing, Clemps! You’ve improved heaps in the past few years.
One thing that surprises me is that no one talks about how there's no way to actually control your party members when they're under control of the CPU. Like, make them focus on the same enemy or a different enemy, make them either stay far away or stay close by, or even make them do nothing at all and stay at a distance
Unlike some reviews with awkward jokes or being just a view bait, this is my favorite review I find on RUclips.
Calling the x button “cross” is an affront to all 5 of my senses
*an affront
it's actually a cross, since its based on geometrical shapes, square, circle, triangle...cross. How does X make sense 😂
I agree, it's been the X button all my life, i think it's the 1st time i heard someone call it the cross button. It was.... unpleasant xD
@@tainor89 There's no such fucking thing as the geometric shape "Cross" that's not a thing. It's not a fucking cross, it's an X, because a cross would be aligned so that the lines were vertical and horizontal.
i even felt it in me 6th
And here I was just watching your Dirge or Cerberus video.
Your FF content is so good my dude, thanks for all the great effort you put into them.
Onto watch the video!!!
I know im super late to this channel, but Clemps... Your sense of humor tickles me to no end. I LOVE YOU
“The cross button”...Disliked, unsubbed, removed from watch history, reported to RUclips and reported to the authorities.
The originally intended name was Cross, I believe.
Cross fits much better with Triangle, Square & Circle.
Cross is also far less ambiguous.
The 'X' button could be any one of three different places between PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo controllers.
Then again I would go further and name the PlayStation buttons cross, ring, square and point. These are all single syllables that are easily distinguished from one another.
Or alternatively you could choose to name them by the number of lines used for each shape, 1, 2, 3 and 4 ;)
Ive heard Eyepatchwolf and his friends call the sqaure button, the BOX BUTTON, truly dark times are upon us
I really love how you use the Nine Wood Hills theme in your videos, it's an integral part of the Clemps experience for me. What an amazing song.
18:51 For those interested in playing the original Playstation/PC/Steam version, gonna highly recommend The Reunion mod (includes the Beacause relocalization).
I am not kidding when I say you sold me on this game with the cat review. More than anything else, I wanna see these cats.
I just love watching you talk about final fantasy. I really enjoyed you opinion clemps
Great video, mate. Love your editing chops.
I'll be skipping the second video because of spoilers.
I really liked the idea of story parts being a separate section.
I'm super duper excited to see all the characters' progression/backstories in the next installment and be able to play as Red in combat. I am in love with this story so much and cannot wait to see what is done from here on out
FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED THEM CAT GRAPHICS!!!!
Yeessss!
I'm very excited for the next part to see you cover the story, cause that's the reason why I'm just interested in this game now!
Love the edits, they gave me a good laugh
I am subscribed to so many channels, yet, this is the only one I have the bell on for.
I.... I didn't know there was a multi use function :(
Fantastic video, looking forward to your story discussion! Especially 'cause I've seen the Foxcade podcast (highly recommend that one btw for anyone reading this) and agreed with all of your points regarding the story.
The amount of hint and foreshadowing in this video is rival with the game it self. You outdone yourself there lad
I was waiting to see you tackle a ff7r video. Great work as always. I felt the same way as you mentioned in your video. Can't wait for part 2!
The Review I've been waiting for!
I ACTUALLY squealed when I saw this posted: always excited to watch your stuff!
Surprised to see so many people didn't know multiuse was a thing. I noticed very early on. What actually took me until now to notice is that you can press triangle to save from the menu without going into Save/Load.
I don't know if it's just me, but this game just made me want to play the original.
totaly😍
I got that feeling a lot too. I like this game a lot but it doesn't replace the original and I don't think they wanted it to. You might wanna look up the New Threat mode for the PC version if you haven't and you want a new FF7 to poke around in.
@@parker469a Yeah, they have said that they wanted both of the games to be two different things or well at least feel different but the same and can go back to play the original still if you wanted.

Cloud: Aerith! LANGUAGE!
Aerith: I'M ABOUT TO DIE!
I really liked VIIR and enjoyed it- up until that ending. I spent the whole game marveling and wondering what they'll do in the next part, but now I'm just nervous that I won't like it.

I honestly don't think there's too much to worry about :) here's a quote from an interview in the new FF7R ultimania book:
Question: "If we follow this Remake’s story, then the next installment might have major changes compared to the original, right?"
Kitase: "I’ve talked about this extensively with Nomura, but I’m sure fans of the original are expecting to revisit familiar locations and scenes, so we have strong feelings to not stray away from that. From here on out, we’re not drastically changing the story and making it into something completely different than the original. Even though it’s a Remake, please assume that FF7 will still be FF7 as usual."
*edit*
Nojima added: "For me, I create scenarios that follow the general flow of the original story but with the assumption that the way things are presented or how events occur might be slightly different.
Great video. (As always). Hit a lot of great points, and funny as all get out. 10/10
AHHHHHHH NEW VIDEO! I haven't watched it yet, but I know I'm going to have a good time
I'm most looking forward to my boy Vincent and what they'll do with his limit breaks.
I'm excited for the rest of the cast and their own play styles. Yes, even Cait Sith. I'm most psyched for Red and Yuffie myself.
I hope Vincent has the ability to jump a hundred feet into the air to broodingly shoot his preposterous revolver at a helicopter and then shoot twenty more identical helicopters.
I’m actually excited to see barret past in part 2 when they go to his home town
I want to see how much of a stud Dyne looks like.
@17:40
I personally want to see Costa Del Sol again.
Aerith was like watching drag race on a thursday night honey
I'm excited to explore red's and cloud's home towns. The character interaction is soo wonderful in this game that just giving them something to talk about ooozes charm.
Wow is that triforce at 5:30 from The Light of Courage animations? That brings me back to IGN in 2006 lol
I can't wait to see how the other characters will control! I love how all four of the playable heroes all play differently in fights, and I'm super-excited to see Red and Yuffie in particular.
Coral Town prison and Dyne is what Im dying for, especially since Barret gotten such a Glow up in the remake.
Mild Spoilers regarding the Ending of the remake:
As someone that has heavily mixed feelings regarding the ending and the "defying fate" plot line, i'm at the same time giddy with joy and excitement, yet filled with potential dread,
Maybe Sephiroth wont be the big bad, maybe Jenova will have a more active role in the story?
The mere thought of it fills me with hope an despair
All aboard Nomura's wild ride, we are going at 100000 miles per hour,multi-track drifting and the brakes have been removed, one way or another it will be glorious.
@@RandomToast give me the details please
Qaztim Eleven oh it’s a ducking trainwreck. And since Sony owns Naughty Dog and is actively pissed with them, I’m predicting they might have a talk with SE since the remake is a PS4 exclusive and Sony desperately cares about their sales now after the ending for the remake has been controversial atm
Maybe it's not septhiroth. I remember in the original, jenova broke away pieces of itself to form septhiroths to push forward the reunion to awake the real septhiroth.
He's still the big baddie. Don't worry.
great video Id love to watch part 2 but sadly im waiting for the pc release
see you in 2+ years probably
Part one of the review of part one of the remake of Final Fantasy 7. Lovely.
Fun video. As always you did well on the skits. I made my own FF7R review and it was kinda neat we both took the bait of making a cheap unreal engine joke. Keep doing as you do!
Two things I'm hoping they keep for this remake.
1: the different Bahamut summons
I personally enjoyed these because it not only showed that Bahamut was prominent in every aspect, but also diversed him as not just a singular entity, almost like a species.
2: The Jenova fights
I think this is self-explanatory
I can't wait to see how they handle the World Map system going forward, as well as a good chunk of the optional content too.
Never stop with the Melvin joke Clemps its the best reoccurring gag ever! XD
Yesssss, my favorite glove-wearing youtuber is back!
After your NieR Analyse vids, I've been hooked and binged em all. Keep up the dope work!
OMG I'm so hyped to watch this, I adored remake, it was such an emotional journey :D
YES YES. New Clemps video!
Omg that multiuse button. You weren't alone. Jeebus I'm so mad now that I finished it that I never noticed that button!
The thing I can’t wait for is more part members, how they’ll play, and what they will do about the optional characters like Yufie and Vincent.
Finishing the game I think Remake has a much deeper meaning than we initially thought.
The "Rebuild" parts are what I am interested in seeing as well as if they plan on depicting implied scenes.
100% agree with you on the soundtrack. Feels like it's like "overly orchestral" in some instances if that makes sense.
16:51... made my day. Loved that part of the review! hahahaha. :) 100% relatable!
The two places I look forward to seeing the most in part 2 are Cosmo Canyon and the Forgotten City/Capital.
Yea maybe we will meet up with Donald at cosmo canyon
By fucking chance I browsed Pat's Twitter and saw you had uploaded holy shit
But for things I enjoyed, the interactions, I loved the Jessie back story and I hope they do something similar going forward, the materia system was perfect and I find the character's unique modes really interesting and give you an incentive to switch characters ( something that I actually enjoyed about battles)
I'll give my opinions on the story in your next video, looking forward for it.
I have been waiting for this since i watched the foxcade stream.
We’ll be waiting for like 5 years but yeah I’m excited
What I'm looking forward to most is more character interaction. Its my absolute favorite and i really want to see more interaction with the other characters introduced later in the story
Part 2 I want to see the Golden Saucer, and the Dyne storyline. It will be mindblowing, and a very solid emotional moment when refabricated.
Could someone please be a kindred soul and say what's the name of the game at 2:54 , i've been trying to remember it's name for more than one month.
I've seen it in a random top whatever ps1 jrpgs, but no matter how hard i search for it, i just can't find it.
“Imagine zooming in on L1 when talking about controls mapped to it”. [this post was made by the dyslexia gang]
I can't wait to see what they do with golden saucer!
Blocking also raises ATB. But when fighting aerial enemies, an aerial dodge, or just a double jump to link combos would help.
THE ONLY REVIEW I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR
I'm the most excited for the gold saucer date...I can't wait to see how they SPICE that up, especially if we can still have a bro date with Barret...
I hope they open it up and let you go with anyone in the party, even Red and Cait.

Man I can’t wait for my workday to be over so I can come back to watch this
I need to know more about the next episodes before getting invested in the remake. Is it going to have a world map? Is it going to be another hallway simulator? Is it going to end with them getting on the boat to Costa Del Sol or are they going to hurry through the rest of the story?
