This is the best African movies I ever watched. Igbo culture and tradition is the best. We are highly educated and democratic before the coming of European. Mind you all that civilisation started in Africa. I am very proud to be an Igbo man. Let us embrace the truth.

This gave me some nostalgia. Thank you so much for uploading this.
The invaders abused our heritage and trampled on our pride. Till date, we are still struggling with our identity.

I don't understand. After all the hardships Okonkwo faced, how could he like an animal. I have read this novel earlier this year and I still lose sleep just thinking about it. It is not fair. I know Okonkwo wasn't perfect and he never made the best decisions but we also have to understand that Okonkwo was a product of dysfunctional household with a not-so ideal father to look up to. But after that, he proved himself to be worthy of honor and respect only to be killed just like that? It's terribly heart-breaking. I know this is a work of fiction but a well-written novel like this js surely thought-provoking. Okonko deserved better.

A remake of the original movie featuring the original casts alive like Pete Edochie, Roy De-Nani, Nkem Owoo, Obi Okoli and other new talented actresses like Mercy Johnson, Queen Nwokoye, Rachael Okonkwo, Olu Jacobs, Ken Erics others.

Pete Edochie now can only play a character like Ezeudu; he can't play Okonkwo again. And I'm afraid that whoever is chosen to play Okonkwo will struggle to live up to the standards Pete Edochie set while playing the character because, no matter whatever roles Edochie has played in his later career, Okonkwo is the character that will always define him as an actor. You know also that Justice Esiri, who played Obierika, has passed away. I agree that, for our future generations, we need to have _Things Fall Apart_ again, but I wish our Nigerian film library had preserved this one. That's what is done in here in America: films like _Ben Hur_ , _Gone With the Wind_ , and _The Shawshank Redemption_ have been selected for preservation in the National Film Library so that 100 years from now, when our generation has passed away and a new generation is in place, they can see these movies as they were made back in the day, as long as America exists. That's what we should be doing in Nigeria.

We have our pride and heritage and we are proud of them. No culture is without cruelty. Igbo have some cultures that should be reviewed. None the less, we are so proud of our heritage.
