Well judging on the trailers I think “The Mist” will have something to do with this or at least be referenced. They’ve already shown in the trailers shawshank is a part of welcome to Derry and Dick Halloran from “the shining” is going to play a big role in this. It’s clear they’re involving a lot of Steven kings other books

Maan we definitely should have gotten this prequel FIRST, before the main movies. If in the prequel we see the military and specialists etc. a lot of people getting involved besides the kids, an they ALL can’t seem to stop IT….looking back it just seems kinda silly an not believable that a group of kids even as adults manage to stop IT by themselves.
