When we moved 6 years ago we agreed we were going to start treating ourselves. We love espresso drinks...and usually buy them from Peet's Coffee but that's now a long drive and it gets expensive super-fast. A friend recommended Whole Latte Love because of their excellent experience buying a high-end espresso maker from them and because they have a good selection of espresso makers and super-auto espresso machines. We bit. We started with a Gaggia Velasca Prestige and liked it very much. But I found myself yearning for my favorite espresso drink, a 'bone dry' double cappuccino, which the Velasca couldn't make. SO...we saved up and ordered the Gaggia Cadorna Barista Plus. That was 3 years go. And it's been great, not one single problem or issue and it's got everything we need. I make lattes for my wife and daughter every morning and a double bone-dry capp for myself. It's really easy so I love doing it and they really like it. Plus, I personally enjoy frothing the milk with the traditional steam wand, working on how creamy I can make it. (I've gotten pretty good!) i KNOW I wouldn't be willing to keep up our morning ritual if we didn't have a super-automatic machine because it makes it all so easy. (BTW, when Marc makes a claim about an espresso maker, in my experience, you can take it to the bank.)
Hey Bill, Thanks for sharing your story and experience with the Cadorna Barista Plus! We love hearing long-term impressions. How many drinks made over the 3 years? Marc
@@Wholelattelovepage Hi, Marc...Let's see...that would be 3,285 drinks (4,380 shots) and that's not counting all those days we had guests I served and those days I made myself multiple double capp's. A pretty large number, when I think about it!
