This is absolutely fascinating . I started the "triangle" 4 weeks ago. After only a few DAYS, debilitating fatigue: gone, crippling anxiety: gone, heart palpitations, hot flashes, profuse sweating, and night sweats: gone. Brain fog reduced.
Loved your talk together. Learned a lot again. It actually made me cry, as I keep on feeling my friends and I would benefit from testosteron and in the Netherlands we are told we cannot get testosteron in perimenopause and in menopause only after estrogen is high enough.
HRT has been absolutely lifesaving for me. I’m so sick of the other professionals talking about “high” doses, too. I need at least 2 of the .075 estradiol patches at a time along with testosterone injections to feel like myself. And, no abnormal thickening has been noted on my us, either. Thank you for everything you do ❤
YES WE NEED TESTOSTERONE!! It has saved me and my marriage! It makes me feel so good in so many ways…Thank you for sharing this valuable info for women!!!
So happy for you! My wife has no libido and will see a doc that specializes in women’s sexual health to get care. Our marriage hangs in the balance because I can’t live in a marriage where I don’t feel loved and desired.
How do you start with testosteron if you already take oestrogen en progesteron. Is there a protocol to follow? Thank you for all those good podcasts. I love them.
Idea for video. Many gp surgeries don't add hrt to repeat but to acute. Making it difficult for patients to request. Also even if on micronised progesterone and oestrogel they insist we need to submit BP and weight each time we request the medicine. It's crazy and inconvenient. I'm a clinical pharmacist having difficulties to get my own hrt after all the fight of getting it prescribed in the first place... tragic comic
Unless you have a special risk for cardiovascular events, why are they not doing a repeat prescription for you, especially if you're having the regular checks? Are they against HRT in general, is it that? 🤗xx
Who needs to change is the gp surgery ...I shouldn't have the job of changing gp surgeries. I've been fighting this nonsense and explained why the rule needs removing but as usual they refuse to even have the conversation . I'll keep going but my point is... it's an idea for a video how obstacles to get hrt even when prescribed exist. This gp surgery isn't the only one
Dr Newson what do you think about the Very Strong Placebo Effect which apparently is why women feel better for taking testosterone? According to the BMS. I've been using testosterone gel for about 3 years and find it helps with symptoms and wellbeing. That's quite a long Placebo Effect isn't it? 😊xx
Hi, just wondering Why did you cut the doctor off when he started talking about lowered rates of hypertension and erythrocytosis... was an abrupt cut off, while he mentioned something very concerning?
For the female, menopausal audience, this was actually a positive statement - erythrocytosis and hypertension are not to be feared when giving women physiological doses of testosterone. At least that’s how I understood it. I think Dr Newson keeps these podcasts within a certain length. I don’t get the impression that she would “censor”:or withhold important information from her audience. Just my impression from listening to her for several years now.
Can u answer this. What would I take if I were your patient. I’m 65. I make nothing. I have zero testosterone. Below cortisole level. I had hysterectomy and ovaries gone too. My Dr gave me the lowest level estrogen and testosterone in the pill form. Is it beneficial and safe. Please answer me. I need your input. Thk u.
You won’t get a personal medical response here. Estradiol, progesterone and testosterone are very beneficial and your hormones affect all the cells in your body. Hormones are safe as long as they are body identical and not synthetic. I’ve had a total hysterectomy, no ovaries and this has been my experience with dosing. Dosing is different for everyone because it depends on symptoms. I started at 0.25 topical estradiol daily and am now at 0.75, 100mg oral micronized progesterone nightly and 1mg topical testosterone as well as vaginal estrogen (vagifem).
I wanted just a small tiny does of testosterone for strength and get my muscle back as I’m a runner. I had a back surgery in January. And a toe fusion on right toe. So I’ve been healing from that. I havent stopped doing yoga. Or kettle bell or weights while recovering but I have to get back to running 6-7 miles a day. Is it a have to situation when using testosterone you have to have estrogen? When using creams isn’t it hard to gage how much you are using? I’m confused.
@@JB-Hae you can just use testosterone but honestly why not use all three if you’re able since they are important for bone, heart, and brain health. Creams and gels are made to specific dosage and will come in a pump or packet that will dispense only the amount you need each time.

That's awesome. What dose testosterone are you taking?
So good, I am the same, now trying to increase my testosterone levels a bit! I use Androfeme
@@Sillysausage17 I have it compounded by a pharmacy. 4 mg Testosterone & 1 mg estradiol in a cream.
This is SO helpful. Thank you so much. 😊

Would you recommend Finasteride for women who lose hair?

My HRT is on repeat. No-one has asked me for my BP or weight, even when I started it. I think you need to change GP practice.

All this information from the UK is .... heart breaking when you live in France and there's hardy any way to get a prescription.......
Can you get it using telemedicine? And we a HRT specialist with more options globally?
I'm going to Australia soon. How can I get testosterone prescribed there that's safely within the female range? I'm post-menopausal.
The female testosterone Androfeme is actually Australian, made by Perth-based Lawley Pharmaceuticals, so you shouldn't have a problem getting it.
How about sublingual troches?are they safe?nobody talks about it 😢
My testosterone level is 0.1.. waiting for it to be prescribed 🙏🙏

Transdermal estradiol- micronized progesterone
You going to get ladies asking for pellets now 😆
The doctor was in support of weekly injections I thought?
What level are you looking at specifically when measuring levels, the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, Testosterone Total or Testosterone free?
