They have nothing to do with each other than being designed by Kow Yokoyama. Blechmann is the word you'll want to look for actual information on the backstory of the Ammoknight.

The prices are similar I guess. Hasegawa probably a little cheaper if you’re just basing it off the amount of plastic.

Robot battle V is actually just a part of MK. it's a side story to the franchise. Source is Wikipedia.
