i love richard wang so much- im so glad this drama made me recognize who this amazing actor is and hu yixuan too- i remember her from unforgettable love and she played her step mom role soooo well and then in this drama she transforms into a teenager/young adult and she still managed to play it off so well- i really love this cast!!!
Yes, this is the perfect casting choice. If it were any other actress playing Xiaoju, I would've been annoyed with her long ago. But because it's HYX, she's such a talented actress that she made Xiaoju into a very warm and caring character, who has her flaws no doubt, but still seems worthy of affection. I think only because of HYX I can 100% believe how much in love LSY is with XXJ. And there can be no other Lu Shi Yi but WRC. He made the character completely his own. From his voice inflections to his micro expressions, he doesn't even seem like he's acting. It was a perfectly casted drama, hats off to the casting director.

The first time I saw Richard Wang was in Eternal love season 1 as the ex of TanEr. The second time I saw him in The Long Ballad as one of the Kings in the grasslands. Now I see him here and this role is so refreshing for him it really made him stand out and I look ahead to more dramas like this carried out with excellent plot. Go Richard Wang!! Update: Now I have seen Richard Wang in a new drama called Dear Diary and you guys should check it out because it's amazing!
Same thing here--i first' saw in that evil prince character..so he didn't really stand out for me.... but Lu Shiyi n his smile has smitten me with his charismatic personality i don't think ill ever get enough of this character...I love him as Dowdy....hereafter i plan to follow more of his works.... 🤣❤️
