same. i’m a dude that’s been wearing khacki pants and a black or white t shirt my entire life. my parents always gave me a budget to spend on cloths for the new year and i never knew what to buy. this time they offered and i thought, wait, yes. i went out and bought some actual cloths. the stuff i ordered is WILD for me. a velvet red t shirt. it’s made of velvet. it’s like fur tshirt. i got ACCESSORIES. first time ever. some jewlery, a fake watch. hard to explain without pulling up photos but super colorful button ups, fake gator shoes. sunglasses. maybe it’s because i’m in the process of moving out and so “who cares” and also quarantine. been wearing LITERALLY the same outfit everyday for the past year or 2. BEFORE THE PANDEMIC. just never gave a single shit. probably looked like a homeless person at school everyday but, meh. i had 3 pairs of the same pants. 6 black t shirts. 3 white t shirts. 2 jackets. and just cycled through them. NOTHING ELSE PEOPLE. and i’m not broke or living in a broke household either, just fashion starved. the pandemic had been wild to me. so i relate to you.
btw shein has been my shit. it’s all super cheap and it’s the only place i could find that you could look good on a low price. thinking about it now, my look inspiration is “expensive.” i’m going to look expensive as fuck but it’s all fake stuff soooo. yikes?
