Probably the best video showcasing Duthie. I just started riding MTB about 3 months ago (rode BMX for about 10 years) and it has been my training grounds. I'm having a ton of fun on my Marin Hardtail but I've been bitten hard but the bug and a full suspension trail bike is definitely in my future lol. The good thing about Duthie is everything is so progressive. You could have a full on pro dirt jump contest and have 6 year olds on kids bikes all at the same place. Most jumps are able to be rolled so you can hit things above your skill level and gradually work your way up. I am so grateful to have this place. I work about 15 minutes away in Bellevue so sometimes I'll just bring my bike to work and shred for a few hours after. It's such an amazing place to learn. It doesn't matter your skill level. If you're reading this you can ride Duthie and you should.
I got to ride there back in late August of last year. I've never ridden anything like that before, was out west visiting a friend and had to ride at least once while I was in Seattle. I rented a full suspension and headed to Duthie on a reccomendation. I was nowhere near ready for that place. When I saw everyone with full face helmets and neck guards, I knew I was out of my element. I didnt let my fear stop me from having an incredible time getting to ride some west coast terrain. Great video and I cant wait to go back!!
I vividly remember my first trip to Duthie. I was basically an XC rider back then and had never seen a machine-built trail in person. (Did they even have machine-built trails back then?) My riding was mostly on back-country, natural trails. But my coworker advised me to check out Duthie as I passed through Issaquah. Of course I started with Boot Camp. But when I rode Ryan's Eternal Flow, I was boggled. I had never seen anything like it. The steep back-and-forth swoops through that gully just felt insane to me. It was very intimidating but so much fun. It was seared into my memory. Soon after I graduated to a full-suspension XC bike. Then to an all-trail bike. And now I'm firmly in the enduro camp. I always ride Ryan's as a warmup when I go to Duthie. And I chuckle about how extreme it seemed to me back in the day. Duthie is probably the best place in the PNW for progressive riding. Though if anyone knows of other such places, please do let me know!
Great riding! It's awesome to see this place looks so good still. I grew up in Issaquah 5 minutes down the road from here and rode here every day after school for years. I unfortunately live in AZ now and haven't been home to ride Duthie in probably 6ish years. I miss it so much. Duthie rocks!
Always great to see a new video from you! I actually dislocated my kneecap at Duthie a while ago, and I'm still recovering but hope to get back at it soon!
Love your videos man, they are so great! I love Duthie, I haven't been able to go at all this season due to my sports so hoping to get back to riding soon. This video is great because it allows me to see how things are running at duthie! Amazing intro!
Love the video, I just started riding MTB after years as a roadie and I just love the sound of all those wooden features. I am just starting to ride some blue trails and I think I need to take a trip over to Duthie and have some fun.

I can’t wait to hit Duthie this year! Looks like you had fun and it was a beautiful day out!
This kid really shreds!
you make this look so easy😂
What camera is this?
My Hero 4 Silver has the same exact quality, I wonder if his is as well
I grew up riding duthee every weekend, and it gets a little boring to ride there all day sometimes. Double trouble is still sick as ever.
