- So for any of you crazy enough to try Flick putting with me... let's look at y favorite discs to putt with and some possible replacements or viable options for you. I prefer a larger rim lid-like disc, but have no fear... I will be doing a test of regular putters in the near future... as soon as my elbow heals up, and I can be bothered. :D
No real earth shattering revelations here, but I will walk you through my thoughts and continue to be my usual charming self. Enjoy!
The berg is life but the prodigy px 3 gets honorable mention great flicker in 400 plastic. Always great stuff Pete👍👍👍
I haven't tried it, and I don't think I have one in my next batch of non-lid putters... I will keep an eye out for one while I am waiting for my elbow to heal. Thanks so much!
Love the explanation of how to throw a forehand putt - it’s a floaty anhyzer. It should just drop and stop at the end of the flight. If you hit the chains - you’re in the money, but miss and it floats down to a stop. super, will have to practice that. thanks for the post, love your enthusiasm and insight in how to play the game!
hey, thanks so much for that! I appreciate you watching
If you like the Madrone I would give an RDG Serpent a try. They share the same thumbtrack top. The bottom of the Madrone is the Gateway VooDoo and the bottom of the Serpent is the Gateway Magic. I found the Serpent better for both putting and forehand throws. Great disc if you ever get your hands on one.
thanks for the suggestion of definitely check it out when I get a chance! I appreciate you watching
I flick a Reactor... I prefer a flat profile and its dead flat on top. I don't let it float in I just keep it on anhyzer up to 40'. Further than that i let it flatten out. Exceptions if no headroom for that trajectory. I just left my favorite one last time I played... That thing has made so many putts for me... I hope it comes back.
Man that hurts my heart to hear you lost it. I know how much it means when you find a disc that seems to speak to you. I hope it comes back
You may have already tried it, but I would like you to try flick putting with Loft Discs and Elevation Disc putters. I heard that the Loft Discs Neon are especially wind resistant...
I will try to add that to my list. I have been meaning to try it out. Thanks!
Howdy, what is the name of the practice hoop you use?
Thank you!
thanks for asking! here is the link to my previous video that I talk about the hoop set-up.

I appreciate it. I found it after posting my question.
The parts and hoop have been ordered.
I really appreciate it.
Hope it works for you! Thanks
The Nomad (mvp, 2 4 0 1) might be right up your alley. Decent glide with a touch of fade.
Thanks, I think that is in my other stack of more regular discs... now I just need my elbow to get better to try it out. thank you so much for watching!
@@ogdiscgolfer my pleasure. Thanks for the response and especially for making yet another entertaining video!
@@ogdiscgolfer hope your elbow gets a speedy recovery. Maybe throw lefty while it heals?
Yes, I just got back from an all lefty round... I have played two weeks of league play lefty only... it is not pretty... not terrible, but not pretty :D But, it is better than not playing! thanks!
Jawbreaker ringer gt imo
What plastic Berg do u use for flick putting?
I use the K1 soft... I started with a K3 as my first Berg and felt it was too slick... the K1 soft and even the glow feel better to me. Thanks for the question.
@ do you have a full tip/guide/tutorial video on flick putting?
I have a couple that I can think of off the top of my head... let's see if these links work... studio.ruclips.net/user/videoUHNQZyc-R5U/, and studio.ruclips.net/user/videodwg_5_IddmI/
If they don't search Flick putt on my channel page. Thanks
@ thank you
The Berg is a Swiss Army Knife.
Hmmm... I like the thought, but I think it is more like the Spetnaz trench shovel... :D
