MTDC Resort Matheran is the closest resort from the Matheran Parking lot. The resort is located at Dasturi Naka which is the starting point of the Matheran Hill Station. Matheran MTDC Resort is one of the best places to stay at Matheran. Our experience at the MTDC Resort Matheran at Valley View Family Suite was amazing.

Also, you shown travelling in your car. Is vehicle allowed in matheran?
Long back when I had visited, it was not allowed so thought of checking (guess it was allowed till dasturi naka or something)

Matheran is still an automobile free Hill Station. Car can be parked at Dasturi naka. Once you park your car here, MTDC is walkable. 😊

MTDC Resorts all over Maharashtra have the same feel. What differs is the location. MTDC Matheran is well known for its location
