  • Ana Gregg suffered two rare SCAD, spontaneous coronary artery dissection, heart attacks at age 35. She had no family history and no risk factors and as a result doctors dismissed her first heart attack as acid reflux. She survived by a miracle and her second heart attack was caught. Seven stents later and Ana is part of a SCAD study at Mayo Clinic and is speaking up as a Go Red For Women spokesperson. Originally published on Jan 27, 2014.

    I am part Hispanic as well. This disease was previously thought mostly to occur in white women. That's why I wasn't helped until my second SCAD heart attack at age 35.
