- Centerville police officers Cliff Robertson (Bill Murray) and Ronnie Peterson (Adam Driver) are shocked to find two open graves at a cemetery while investigating a string of bizarre incidents. Suspecting that there are zombies overtaking their city, they prepare for what is to come.

It's the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled starring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits. In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behavior. No one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing the town: The Dead Don't Die - they rise from their graves and savagely attack and feast on the living - and the citizens must battle for their survival.

OMG! I don’t know who that actress is that did the morgue scene where she chopped off the heads of two zombies, but that was CLASSIC! She was outstanding! I’m sure they must’ve had someone come in and do the actual chopping off of the heads that was an expert with a samurai sword, but that was an AWESOME scene…and then she says: such a shame, I did such a Bonnie job on their make up! 😂

This was a super weird film. I should say, started as a 'normal' zombie movie.. then went super weird. Was an ok movie, nothing special though. Great for some of the cameos and easter eggs though.

Yeah it’s dark humor but the acting is the worst. It’s like the director said - ummmm, I need less emotion in this scene. Cut, cut…..less emotion.
That’s the joke. The director wanted the two guy cops to act like it’s any other Saturday. This movie isn’t also trying so hard to appeal to everyone, I mean there was hardly any marketing for it cuz the director didn’t care, he just wanted to make a movie
They address it in the movie! Adam Driver's character literally says he's read the script ffs. You do realise not all acting involves some form of thespian, Oscar winning monologue filled with shouting and hyper emotion. Sometimes people like to use a little of what is termed IRONY and SUBTLETY.
