    Annette Lewis started riding at the age of 2 at her father's stables in Chigwell , Essex .
    She has had a very successful career representing Britain both nationally and internationally.
    She started her career by winning her first Pony Club Jumping competition at the tender age of 4 and an affiliated 148cm open at the age of 6. She made her mark in ponies by winning the 148cm Junior class at Birmingham International at the NEC and the Royal International at Wembley.
    She was picked to represent England in the Under 16 Junior Europeans at the age of 11 years. She was also chosen to represent England in the Young Riders Europeans Team and the Senior British Team, where she achieved double clears in her first two appearances in the Nation Cup Team. She has appeared in many Nation Cup Teams both at home at Hickstead and abroad.
    She has competed at many venues including The Royal International Horse Show, Birmingham International, Royal Windsor and Olympia and many more international venues.
    She has had major success at all of these shows including the Young Showjumper Award at Olympia , The Grand Prix at Royal Windsor and The Queen Elizabeth Cup at Hickstead where she came 2nd two years running.
    Annette has been teaching all ages and levels for over 15 years.
    She is a BSJA Accredited Coach

    I just read something that stated Annete was really tall as a child and when riding the smaller ponies she had to lift her legs out of the way to keep from hitting the jumps with her feet. No one ever really taught her to ride so it stuck with her.

      Taylor Hunnicutt Apparently she jumped like that because she jumped ponies that were too small for her and she did that lower leg thing so she didn't knock the poles with her feet. It's not the most stylish leg position but she was very effective and successful.

      I'm so impressed because she is mostly very stable on her horse 😶 like she didn't even once loose her stirrups or her position in lending...
