its not really a bug, an enemy died in the x before he could execute them so he got the cut. And what would it else say "obtained by (name of champ)"?
it would say obtained from pyke anyway
but pyke killed the enemy after the X mark
so no one should get a cut coin, the ult is on cooldown aswell
nah its works until x disappers not when untl damage done.Only thing about i think its a bug i ulted an enemy when tower killing them i got kill gold and this gold item so i got 600 gold form 1 kill even it showed i assisted my own kill that wasnt intended i would say. So when tower kills ulted target pyke gets gold and gold item.
I saw it slowed, he ulted, then like 1 second after, the turret killed Kayn, doesn't makes sense but he helped the turret to kill Kayn, and since the turret is not a champ just gave him the gold and his cut.
This is how that worked:
Someone assists Pyke to kill>Pyke kills> Ally kills (Elimination?) (and sometimes the ally gets the credit, that's weird but i believe when someone deals the most damage beetween they and Pyke, Pyke is the one who appears as assistant). Now imagine that but with turret instead of Pyke and Pyke instead of ally (?

Luftiger yeah it isn't a bug, just unstated part of his ult. If they die while in the X, whoever killed them gets the full gold, and he gets the cut.

The Game caluclatet the DMG in every 25 milisecond. So the DMG Diana did was caluclatet bevor her jump. That means the Game did know that the Blue will died bevor she jumed.

I have seen this Pyke-Your Cut-bug every time i played a round against and with him
Sometimes in the case of a solo kill with Pyke on my team there would stand:
*Syndra has slain Jinx*
*Syndra got empowered assist (Pyke)*
->Pyke did nothing in this *solo kill*
-> Syndra assisted herself and somehow Pyke gave her a cut even if he was on the other side of the map
In former times you could see lots of those while playing.
But nowadays I encounter them very rarely.
6:02 pyke’s ult says that the gold cut will be given to pyke and the champion that last assisted him (in this context, kai’sa) no matter who kills it, so it isn’t a bug, kai’sa killed one of them and pyke just got the cut instead of her
nobody gets the your cut unless pyke ult kills them, or they die in the x but before the ult lands.In that clip they died after the ult hit, and if anyone kaisa should have got the cut.

I got that Pyke bug the other day. Killed people and got "your cut" for myself twice.
For the bug with Pyke getting his own "Cut" (5:40-6:05) this only happens when someone KSed Pyke before his casted Ult hits the target for the execution and since Pyke is the 1st Assist to that kill that has occured during his Ult cast he gets the Cut instead.
I do not find this as a bug personally, it's more like a proper compensation.
But pyke was the one that killed kayn? And the ult clearly was gone when kayn died
Pyke got the kill on kayn, and pyke only gets your cut if an ally kills them before the ult hits. Kayn died after
My bad, this is what I get for for commentting on something around midnight when I should be sleeping. XD
What I said for a reason, however, is the most common way for Pyke to get his own Cut, though.

The Pyke "bug" is not a bug, his Ult is coded so that if anything dies inside the ult, a cut is given. If Pyke kills with his ult, the cut goes to the assist and he gets the kill gold. If someone else kills the target inside the X before the ult lands, Pyke gets a cut himself, and the other person gets the kill.
