    It’s the water flow you gotta be concerned about. ‘Gallons per minute’ Pressure is regulated by the pressure regulator on the spigot so changing a shower head wont increase pressure at all

    I have the Oxygenic shower head. Water pressure is not good. I cleaned the black gunk on it with vinegar and baking soda and it got better but it’s still not strong enough to get the shampoo off my scalp. I think it has more to do with how much water coming into the camper. But I don’t know.

    Drawing air into a shower head does not increase pressure, it may give you the perception it does, but it don't. The pressure in is the pressure out. You can't trick physics.

      Which gives you a better shower. That’s all anyone cares about.

    Ecocamel has an adjustable jet storm that has a lever that switches from all of the jets to the center jets with more pressure. We put that one in our rig and really like it. We went from the oxygenics to this one.

    I recently purchased a water pressure regulator for my rv, it really lowered my pressure in my shower. Which allowed me to take a real shower without shutting the water off while soaping up and not running out of hot water.

      James Smith yes, there is a fine line between enough and too much!

    They all would have the same pressure. Only difference is the volume. The more holes there are in the shower head at your given pressure the less water would fall from each hole giving you the impression of less pressure but in reality it's just the same pressure and same volume spread over a larger area. The box should tell you the gallons per minute (gpm). The one with the highest gpm would theoretically have the most water coming out regardless of the pressure. I'd call this more of a desired water pattern comparison than a shower head pressure comparison. Cheers!

    Thank You! Great comparison

    Thanks! I was under the impression that the oxigenics was great for boondocking as it “aired” the water coming out and used “less water” while feeling like more water...if that makes sense. Wonder if these two are the same concept.

      Rebeca Hanrahan yes, all three introduce air to make them feel more like a home shower ☺️

    We like the ones that are spread out, the oxygen one sprays to hard in one spot.

    For a flow test see how long it takes to fill a 5 gallon bucket.

      Really just concerned with the feel of the shower. It the shower feels good it’s a win. The flow rate is information available on the packaging.

      From visual view it seems like the second might be better but really none seemed very powerful

    Been thinking of upgrading our. I have been afraid DW would not like the direct pressure of the Oxygenics.

    Did you remove the white restrictive disc from the valve? This will reduce pressure substantially if left in.

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  4 года назад +1

      Erich Tucker no, there is a fine line between enough pressure and too much water which will fill the wastewater tank quicker than we’d like. We generally aren’t hooked to sewer when we camp.

    Let me know how you like the new shower head. I'll get one for the new camper.

    Do both or either of the challengers have a water on/off switch on the handle of the spray head?

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  4 года назад +1

      No, none of these do. Our on/off is at the beginning of the hose.

    Fact is the website does not give the gpm. Love the channel. But if your gonna jump in the game then jump. Give the test and real reviews.

      Dave Vollhardt so who cares which one we like better? Who gives a rip what the shower heads “stats” are if you don’t like it?!
