Holy ice age, Batman! "Pummeled' is a vast understatement. I used to live on the shore of Lake Ontario, and we never got anything like THAT.

oldfartatplay1320 It was definitely the most snow I've ever seen all at once in my life! But then again, I live in NYC so while we do get some big storms on occasion, they are nothing like this!

Hmm... I feel like it there was wind during the storm then the snow would have a hard time accumulating on the roof like that... I could be wrong though

Many times during lake effect snow storms, it just snows incredibly hard, with little wind. There are exceptions though of course, but during this event, there wasn't much wind at all.

WE LOVE THE WONDERLAND, SURVIVALIST INGENUITY TEST, THE 'KEEP FIT' WORKOUTS, BUT THAT ENDS WITH OLD AGE!! I USE AN ELECTRIC SNOWBLOWER ON MY ROOF: V-LIGHT WEIGHT, EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND EFFICIENT.
