John Paul is a good influence in James life but James has too many dark secrets and I don´t know if JP would be able to take it all if it was revealed. Well the writers did erase the fact that Ste, who had just got married to JP, cheated on him. The writers have erased so much of Ste's bad treatment of JP, perhaps this is just their way of saying "we don't remember anything ourself"
