Really?!? Did you not watch the video? It's absolutely NOT as "simple as that." I'd say it's more so the countless nuanced and refined scoring skills he's perfected over years and years.... which this video just explained very clearly and in great detail. If all it took to score 40+ points in three straight NBA games (at age 21) was "unshakeable confidence simple as that".... many other people would be doing it. There are a lot of confident 21-year-olds in the world. I'm 100% certain it's his elite scoring skillset, which was literally just explained clearly and succinctly in this video. It's not just confidence.... and it's absolutely NOT simple. How is that your takeaway from a 7.5 minute detailed breakdown???
@@brodiestephens419 the NBA is full of talented players who can score. A lot of them have the same or better ability than Cam. The difference is Cam doesn't go into his shell if he misses a shot. He keeps going. One person will call this unshakeable confidence, the other calls it poor shot selection. When it goes in, everyone is on the Cam bandwagon. When the shots do not fall, there will be people who will get on his back for it. Russell Westbrook is exhibit A of this. He won an MVP based on high volume low efficiency shooting.
I’ve been praising cam for a long time now just seeing him in spurts and I swear every time I say something to myself you come out with a video for it I’m glad I’m not alone, you definitely have one of the best eyes for true basketball skills and techniques!
I believe the confidence he has comes from the hard work he puts into his game. Mikel Bridges once said during an appearance he made on a podcast that thing thing that impressed him the most about Cam was how he practices all the shots fans have seen him take in games. Hopefully he gets alot of minutes moving forward.

I want him to focus more on attacking the hole tho and not take those mid range fadeaways. Also developing his playmaking and off ball play. If he can do that he can become a really special player
Wish I knew about bro sooner. All I'd hear about him is jokes like "Cam thomas probably thinks he's the best player in the league." Love the way he scores
At this point, I think team scouts just hone in a few talent and never bother anymore until draft day. Cam's stock was shooting up before the draft yet he ended up 27th.
I feel like half the team hates when he shoots. they all think of themselves as scorers and you got this one guy chucking more hard shots than anybody that needs iso's. coach doesn't like iso'ing either. even if he's proven he can do it i feel they still hate on it. i see it in their body language.
This guy made my confidence go way up cause watching him made me realize that I can ball hog also cause my whole team does not pass me the ball so when I get it I don’t pass that much
My family member hoop with him at oak hill his senior year but it was stacked at the guard position with him n coke Anthony he was on the bench that season 😢
Yo, I am a 5'5" guard for my high school JV, I have a hard time shooting with the right power(back of the rim bricks) and I cant seem to be consistent, any tips?
He still has a ton to improve as a scorer. His foot work getting into his jumper could give him even more separation
his confidence is unshakable simple as that.
If JV doesn't give him dirty looks, he would be scoring 70 a night from 90 field goal attempts. The kid loves to shoot

@@brodiestephens419 he’s put in the work which leads to his confidence. it’s apparent in his play i’ve watched him since oak hill relax.

I didn’t even watch the video yet but the elevation on his jumpers is insane
He's an old-school street ball scoring master! I love that million option players.
Awesome breakdown! This kid is great!

I legit did my own analysis because I wasn’t sure if you were going to make one 😂
Born to play basketball . Mamba mentality
I did a breakdown too, but I focused more on footwork. Nice video!

this breakdown is golden. thanks!
Who would you rather have Cam Thomas or Jalen Green
he looks specials. we can still be something in the finals.plenty of defence in this new nets lineup.
Best side step since James Harden
What happened to Dame??

Hello Luka?
Harden taught him some moves

If you squint when he's hitting the misdirection step back you'd think you're watching Harden

Do you think that you can made new breakdown of DeMar DeRozan?
He has a harden-like skill set when it comes to scoring

Arc🚨🚨🚨
go do some form shooting and work on your arc
His prime lasted two games. Now the team cut his minutes significantly for saying 'no homo.' 🤦
Are you serious?!? WTFFF 😮
Thanks for this
he averaged 40 in the g league
Fearless
Could you breakdown Muggsy Bogues' game?
Thank u ❤
I want to see this video!!
I was looking for this today's the dau
Top 3 shooting guard in the league. Give him the keys.
Cam Thomas when he sees this vid: *"Ain't sh*t funny. No h*mo"*
lmfao you don’t need to sensor homo
@@tmiller7004 i might get reported for that inappropriate reason lmao
His jumper reminds me of Rashard Lewis
do marcus sasser next
Where is the defence Cam?
Put a baddie courtside and watch him cook
🔥🔥🔥
God is awesome
New Brandon Roy 3 inches shorter
MIP
Aint sht funny
Slow footed and low efficiency guy and can’t play defense. He will never be a full time starter.
He shot 50%+ in the 3 of the games 4 that he scored 40
He’s just a shorter lamelo ball who has bad tunnel vision
@@Rife4Life what my boi ? Just ain't that simple
First
He’s a 6th man at best. He does this against 3rd string players lol not to mention he doesn’t win when he drops 40 lol well hes 1-3
Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Kristaps Porzingus, Booker, Cp3, Aytom, Bridges are all third string players
