If you have the 3.8 V6 it is totally different. There is no radiator cap near the radiator itself, only on the overflow reservoir at back left corner of engine. And the most common leak on it is the Y coming from the overflow tank to the heater core in firewall and down to rear of engine.
I just came from Suzuki dealer who was selling a 2017 Sorento. My mechanic came to inspect the vehicle and he noticed coolant under the drivers seat. The dealership told me it's just replacement of the hoses but my mechanic told me it would require further inspection...in the end I did not but the car because the dealership should have known about this leakage in addition other issues...

what about where the water pump is mounted to the engine block directly, it has gasket also with 5 bolts.can it leak coolant from there also?
Can't hardly understand a word this guy is saying, talks way to fast.
My coolant seems to be pooling under the driver side floor board. I can't tell where it's actually leaking from.
Did you ever find out?
