Thanks for sharing. We old pilots have a saying “Centerline Centerline” Meaning keeping the centerline of the runway always between our legs at all times. This requires doing a rudder dance. In this aircraft some left rudder during the initial takeoff roll, then another adjustment as the tail comes up and finally another adjustment as the aircraft is airborne. With most conventional aircraft torque, P factor and asymmetrical cork screw effect are all causing the aircraft to veer left. Looks like you are have those acting in reverse. Fly safely and your build is beautiful. Takes a lot of nerve on initial test flights.
Hey, thank you so much for the comment and concern. This is an older video when I first started flying and yes the engine does rotate in the opposite direction. So it has a right turning tendency lol. Glad you enjoyed it and stay tuned for more!
Must say I am very impressed of the look and lift. The real wRight Brother flight!!!Look so fun!!!!!! You just earned a new follower, thanks for sharing
Congratulations! 👍 May I give you an advice to improve your takeoff technique? Your video shows the plane veering strongly to the right side during takeoff run. It seems your aircraft is equipped with a counterclockwise turning engine. In contrast to the clockwise turning engine in a C172 a counterclockwise turning engine requires left rudder input during takeoff run and during climb. Enjoy your plane and fly safely!
Hey, thanks for the tip. Yes I did notice that lol I've been working on it and I can say I'm way better now. This was an older video when I first got it and started flying it
Hi Dear, likewise even Boeing has started. I have also started something like this.Let's keep trying and learning from our failure. Ibrahim from Cameroon.
I got it used for $5,000 it was built in 2017. And only flowed about 50 hours, so it's still pretty new. Definitely would recommend it's a great plane to fly!
@@pilotsam30 Wow! That is a pretty good price for it. I would hate to build a plane unless I already had one to fly. I am going to have to look into the used market on aircraft too. Thxs
It's hard to say... I found this one on Facebook marketplace. And I've seen 2 more on there before. So I'd try looking there. And if I see them anywhere else, I'll let you know the website :)
Hey, thanks so much. Yes it does turn right. But this is an older video when I first started flying it so I was used to the left turn tendency coming from flying Cessna lol. But I have it under control now ;)
Yes I'd definitely say so. For me it helped with my flight training. And it's a great thing to have around for fun and you get a different point of view if the landscape. If you do purchase it I can give you some tips about it that I've learned
Hey, yes, I know I'm off the center line. This is an older video when I first started flying it. And the propeller goes opposite to the cessna I'm used to flying. I've corrected it now. ;)
It was calm, but it did get windy. 9mph gust. That was the last flight I did for the day. Thanks for your comment, and thanks for tuning in. I appreciate it
I just ran across this video. I see most semi-veiled complaints here. I must wonder, why such responses instead of congratulations? How many are because the pilot and maybe builder seems to be a black man?
Hey, I'm not sure where exactly. I found mine on Facebook marketplace. And I've seen a few more there, so that's one place I know of, but if I see them anywhere else I can let you know :)
You are randomly flying over peoples houses very low. It may not be a registered airplane but some common courtesy and following regulations will go a long way in your aviation career and keep the Feds off you. Have fun but stay safe :)
Hey, thanks for the comment. Yes, I am aware of the low flying. This is an aviation community and a lot of people are flying in sometimes low too but This is an older video when I first started flying it. You wouldn’t last 5 minutes at our airport, flying like that. Bloody cowboy. Two stroke engine, not the most reliable engine. And flying all over the place, over people’s houses and hangers. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
Just FYI - your opening needs a correction. It's "guys," not "guy's." Guys is the plural of guy, while guy's is the possessive form, as in "that's Guy's plane."
Looks like you are having a ball. Some things for you to consider: 1. Residents of Airpark communities DO NOT LIKE YOU FLYING OVER THEIR HOUSES! 2. The feds will take your certificate for not following regulations and rightfully so. 3. Your future employers may hesitate to hire you when they have video evidence of your skirting the rules. They will check your social media. 4. You don’t inspire confidence in your passengers when you loosely follow the rules. 5. Take every precaution to live a long healthy life.

These airplane models with the wings below the pilot are my favorites, could you tell me if there is a specific name for this type of airplane?
