I agree that sonically it feels a little scattered but I think that’s the point. The concept of the album is being shattered and every time she dropped a single she called it a “piece” of her. The theme of the album is extremely cohesive but the sound is supposed to display all the different vibes or pieces of Chloe. In my opinion lol

Right. However, there's a difference between 'scattered' and 'lacking cohesion'. For example Lemonade was a story in pieces, showing the growth and transition from one phase oh healing to the next. After all, Bey gave us HURT YOURSELF and ALL NIGHT on the same project. The difference though is that the phases (scattered nature) felt intentional and WELL thought-out so it was sonically pleasing, dynamic, and confident. This project felt well-intentioned but poorly put together, almost as if it was thrown together in a rush.
One thing I noticed while listening to the album is how it elevates the singles. I didn't care for Body do or Pray it away or How does it feel as singles but they make so much sense in the project that i kinda love them now!

The guy from DVSN would have been great for Cheat Back especially since DVSN had a lot of controversy/hype around their song If I Get Caught Cheating... she probably already paid Future for his verse and didn't want it to go to waste. If you listen to the song by DVSN, having the dude on Cheat Back would have been perfect.

People need to remember that Chloe has a label to answer to… I’m sure sonically she had a different plan but her label had a different plan. That’s why we need support independent artists more so that artist like Chloe are encouraged to be independent. That’s why admire creatives like Tinashe. We love and need to support Chloe
