Thanks! 🙏 Yeah, I was really into Dystopia until we started living in it in 2020/21. I've always tried to build a dark, ominous foundation and then have the sun appear out of nowhere as a beacon of hope and light.
Keeping me energized yet destressed at the same time; an almost impossible task done here "effortlessly*" - it's practically perfect! When I think of "LoFi Chill", this is EXACTLY what I'm envisioning. So glad this came up! Subscribed. *(I cannot fathom how much work and effort went into the creation of this. I know it is monumental. The accomplishment of its effect on me is 'effortless', like a key fitting a lock I didn't know existed. I needed this!)

I used to do just this many years ago. You've inspired me to try again. you can edit rhythms as percussions in recordings too. I do these type of urban recordings with a pair of soundman binaural mics. You can record and people think it's earbuds. I was considering selling them but I am keeping them now.
