Yeah there is no way a VA can sing like this. Not tryin to look down to them but this is clearly a professional work. But pros to hoyo team manage to find us a singer that when heard the song as if it is scaramouche singing his heart out.
I love how this theme really represents how his....mind, heart, and soul are not only RAGING, but _FRACTURING._ This kid is absolutely falling apart at the seams, and he's not only fighting against us and the world, but against himself, and you can *_HEAR IT._* The deep bass chanting and the deep brass show off the rage and anger and corruption, but then you've also got the tenor/s and higher baritone/s and lighter pitch elements that sing above that, weaving in throughout it, showing vulnerability and pain, CRYING OUT for help, SCREAMING for someone to hear him. And the way the theme goes back and forth between the 2 (and all the in between), gradually leaning more and more heavily towards the dark heavy rough rage shows his psychological descent into what I like to call the psychotic _"Y'know what? _*_T'HECK_*_ with it all! Let's just _*_BLOW EVERYTHING TO HELL!!"_* state very wonderfully. And with the whole gorgeous Gothic orchestra & chanting, mixed with the electric techo almost dubstep elements, mixed with Japanese style melody gives this song a really unique but AWESOME flavor!
From what I've said from a previous comment section, there is a Fatui leitmotif. But what's interesting is that not only there is a leitmotif but the lyrics are Latin, and Latin did appear in Signora's OST aswell. Dunno if Childe has Latin words in his boss OST. But I gotta wait for future Harbinger bosses and see if they continue this trend. I don't know what the Latin words translate to but there are some rough translations for Signora's and it actually sings out the story of Signora. Or to be exact, The Crimson Witch of Flames
Putting it simply, the Latin in each of these songs translates to something related to the characters. Since Latin is a bit... odd per se, it tends to translate to simply words for us, but they all tell a story, Childe's, Signora's, and even Scara's one
@@imnotreanalbertospynotatal6968 Scara is exclusively Japanese and Latin. Though the singer is still unknown, Some say its Yu Peng Chen himself. Chinese Scara VA denied singing it and JP has not had a say in it.
Like most the Fatui Themes, it's sung in Latin. What it translates to I'm not sure, but it usually conveys the story of the character. You also hear the Fatui leimotif spread through it. The higher tenor in this (Scaramouche himself) sings in both Latin and Japaneese. You have organ because of the slightly religious like alliance the Fatui have to the Tsarista, and it just gives maniacal feel. The Japanese flutes goes back to Scaramouche's Inazuman (Japaneese) roots.
I'm not yet sure if the "religious" tones that the Fatui have are related with the Tsaritsa or the "divinity" itself. I'm doing this from memory, so I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly all the themes of the harbingers are quite the opposite of what religious classical music tends to be. My point here is to say that maybe is more related to their quest to siege a war against Celestia than the Tsaritsa... As in Teyvat... Archons and Gods are not the same, and we haven't seen yet a real god.
Bossfight is out, the language used is mostly Latin (with some archaic italian mixed in) with the exception of the portions when scara is singing by himself over the inazuma theme where he revers for a very short amount of time back to japanese
