Frits Damrow

In this video, trumpet virtuoso Frits Damrow discusses his training under Thomas Stevens, James Stamp and Pierre Thibaud. We talk about his years in the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra where he served as Principal Trumpet under Riccardo Chailly, Marius Jansons, and Bernard Haitink. You will also learn about his teaching at the University of the Arts in Zurich Switzerland.

Hello Mark. I just came across your talk with Frits Damrow. I had the pleasure meeting him on one of my visits to Holland in October 2004. Frits is the son of my cousin Marlies Partner Huub, who passed away some years ago. What a great interview. Thanks for sharing
