How I Would Become A Software Engineer in 2024

Hi guys, in this video I'm going to try to go over a focused plan for becoming a backend engineer. I had quite a few people coming up to me over the years asking me what to do if they want to teach themselves to become a software engineer. I usually send them to roadmap.sh and they get overwhelmed instantly. So I wanted to pick out the bare minimum you should learn before you start looking for a job.
You may be in university and be thinking to yourself that you don't know how to code but you want to step up and try to learn. I hope this helps YOU!
