Would love to see you do an impossible Castle run of Devil is in the Details map. No one has yet done one on RUclips and while some factions can seem to do it, Castle is so freakin hard. Easily the hardest map I've played so I'd love to see how you tackle such a fast, giant map with a slow faction like Castle. You know, if you ever get bored and want to do a fun little RUclips series!

Inteus having a bloodlust speciality is double bad coming from a town that has two shooters and three units completely immune to it. It's basically only boosting Magma elementals and pixies.
@@Lexiav That is when loading in single player - we enter the password for the host colour and it loads just fine. When trying to load from the lobby with the same players, only host enters the password and others leave it blank, it loads fine like up to 6 turns older saves, but not older - then it just states that the save is password protected and cannot be loaded.
I would gladly see HoTA add spell that cost 0 mana and being "attack" of hero based on his skills, abilities and level - this way "fighting" characters wouldn't be as poor in rankings as they are right now.
@@piotrtoborek2442 What will archery give you if your archers are blinded and can't be dispelled or friendly fire. What is will give you 1000 chaos hydra against 500 cyclops if hydra need to pass 12 hexes of quicksand. and you can't teleport hydra and enemy simply can put force field when you are just 1 hex away. Of course some characters gives huge passive boosts but lets be honest - in heroes five 1 skeleton is enough to beat infinite amount of earth elementals with any level hero as long as they are in 1 unit. Here mage with 1 pixie has chances with much much much more powerfull armies - warrior character even Tazar on level 50 or crag hack on lvl 50 doesn't if they are out of mana to beat several of them.
In most templates top players go for might hero as a main for a reason. You can nuke or disable some of the opp's armies but with high enough stat difference You will get pummeled buy whatever is left operational. Of course powerful mages are powerful for reasons You mentioned but there are artifacts that fully/partially block spellcasting and There is Interference secondary skill as well. Magic arrow is enough to deal with one Pixie and Craig or Tazar can cast it without Wisdom. In short: Mages are best long term investment against AI, Might heroes rule late-game on the PvP scene
@@piotrtoborek2442 It is at the end - try with basic + first army kill imp cache as Tazar on level 3 when you get 60 familiars and 240 imps as enemy when you have like 20 lizardman 40 gnolls and 6 wasps. As you mentioned on template map - template maps are unbalanced as heck - you can have 3 unguarded windmills and 3 water wheels (had it on Jebus Cross with friends on hot seats and it literally given me several weeks of army growth since I didn't need to focus on economic growth) in range of hero with creature of speed 7 can collect them all in one turn - aka you can ignore economic path on beginning (we played on highest difficulty). Best test of skills would be on custom map like - devil is in the detail where you need to take care on all aspects - tactical, economical and logistical - like I cannot invade blue because red is invading.

For example, in Lithuania we with friends always called ore 'akmenys' (stone), because it looks like it, and mercury- simply puodai (tubs). The Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment artefact was 'arbatinukas'- tea-kettle. And hero names, like Aine, Ciele, Kyrre, Pyre in Lithuanian are pronounced phonemically correct, like everything else (plus Lithuanian ending added)- so it sounds very different than these names said by english or russian players.

Some examples: Kalt is german word for "cold" and should be pronounced like a german word. Ciele's name is drived from italian "cielo" which means "sky" and should be pronounced in the similar manner. Monere is a form of ancient latin word "moneo" which means "to think". And my favourite example: Luna has nothing to do with moon and her names comes from slavic word "Łuna" (pronounced like "woo-nah") which means "bright light created by strong fire" (can't remember english equivalent right now). Their chances of guaranteed magic skills were reduced (to the point of might heroes), but HotA "fixed" that.

How do you load password protected saves?
Me and mates could load saves up to 6 turns ago, but not older than that
You just enter the passwords in appropriate colors and the game should load. I don't know if there is any way to load them without the passwords.
