I still can't get the fact that this song is PONPON SHIT like tf.... Sounds so relaxing
bacouse it is not, it is another song that ponponshit is based on
@@gergokerekes4550 It is listen to it lmao it just doesn't have the extra sfx and vocals
@@zephyrz0902 yes but in the game, pon pon shit is based on a song by kerry eurodyne
its ponpon, there is no other song it is based on. kerry comes up with a song later on that kinda sounds like it.
Same here, can't stand the orignal cover but this sets the mood.
Pon Pon Shit: The Late Night Party
Pon Pon Shit (acoustic): The Morning After

Or it's some perfectionist who's pissed that it's actually 1 hour and 30 seconds.
Or whoever had to clean up the Basilisk after Panam and V brought it back
@@wolfielagg Damn can you imagine them giving the Basilisk back all fucked and being like "K bye."
@@DirtTheDweller I just imagine Mitch looking at V hop out of the Basilisk ass naked like “Panam.... what the fuck were you two doing?”

@@Pyroo0 but we've all heard silverhand utter those words
@@rrenkrieg7988 I guess so but would be nice to share with people the moment
gonna do all the sidequests before i do the ballad of buck rivers so i can buy that old samurai fans merch at maxed out stats lol...also why does he just disappear? is that a bug?
Yeah some random guitar guy in Japantown playing this, Johnny comments on his play style.
I legit was hanging around the Aldecaldos campfire for a good 30 minutes it felt like as the sun went down.
I miss camping, haven't done it in all of 2020.
Same here, I live in the Uk but travel by plane to Iceland every year to spend the summer with my family. We usually enjoy it camping but 2020 ruined it, but I'm not gonna let 2021 summer go to waste
2020 was an evaluation of what matters and what doesn't. Got back to my roots and got back into hiking through nature. I even hiked my first mountain this year at almost 1000m in a day. 2020 sucked, but some good came out of it and I feel luckier than some.
As for the music, I could spend hours listening to it by the fire.
Especially when they moved the Camp to North and there's only one Guitar-guy . Loved the setting of the first Camp , but the second Guitar-guy would always start playing a second different song that would totally ruin Ponpon Shit :(
God, I literally haven't done anything since December 2019. A combination of commitments, covid, and a bunch of other shit XD
It hurts
I kicked back at the alleyways with a guitar guy next to the wall.
I was about 50 hours in hanging out at the Aldacado camp recording some ambient footage when I first heard this. Crazy that I just somehow missed it for so long.
Wait wait wait, You spent 50 hours actual time in the camp and didn't come across the guy playing guitar in the middle of the camp? ^^
@@rsh4599 what does that mission have to do with gentrification? Because the old store was replaced with a sushi cafe?
If you played beat on the brat questline, the guitar guy where you fight the twins also played the song
Played like this, PONPON Shit is almost unrecognizable. Its so mellow and solemn
This is exactly what I need
Yep
Who is cutting onions. CD Projekt did it again gonna miss these NPCs.
Part of me wants post-game DLC so I can go back to interacting with these characters, part of me says they shouldn't because it forces you to really cherish what little time you have with them during the playthrough :(
More like gonna miss Panam
@@mugiwaralufyy1729 they probably won't make another city, but yeah I'd imagine they would have you return to NC at some point to do more stuff.
@@mugiwaralufyy1729 Honestly, I doubt CDPR would do that for this game. The cityscapes are way too detailed, I can't imagine the amount of effort and planning that would be necessary to basically do civil engineering. NC really impressive but I doubt they would put this much detail into, say, a Tokyo or Atlanta map and sell it for 20$, that's an insane proposition IMO.
Toussaint is a whole new region, but they probably had a terrain library like how Skyrim modders can use existing assets to stitch together unique landscapes, put some new buildings here and there, etc. I doubt NC was done that way, seeing how complicated and unique every corner is.
That being said, I could totally see them doing a badlands-styled Arizona or something, but then we'd be playing Mad Max and not Cyberpunk :(
@@fredxu99 I wouldn't place a bet either way but remember that the blood and wine dlc city was as big if not bigger than Novigrad. CDPR made a pile of cash all ready if they wanted to get back some of that lost goodwill a huge scope dlc might be justifiable.
Its still processing for me... on how a song like ponpon shit has a nostalgic guitar ver.??
Pon Pon Shit is cover of Kerry's song
This is actually the original song that originated Ponpon shit, don't wanna make any spoiler here but you can learn more about the story behind it just by completing some side missions with Kerry Eurodyne! :)
@@ItsMeMono Every time I come back to listen to this video more people have commented that, but it's not pon pon shit in that quest. It's another song.
@Laddy Donglegs really? I kinda remember Kerry showing V the ponpon shit video on his tablet, saying something like “can you believe this?!” 🤣
@@ItsMeMono I thought that too, but it turns out they were covering a different song called User Friendly
Having sat and thought a bit on this I realized something. It’s the perfect song for V’s journey. Normally it’s this high energy hyper pop song mimicking the feel of night city and how fast it can be. But deep down right here is the soul of it all. A sad melody that eventually ends. Just like V’s story will always lead to their end in some way. Be it in mind heart or soul
I was dipping out of the game and getting bored of the city. Then I started the Aldecaldos chain and the whole questline reinvigorated my drive to finish the game. Easily some of my favorite portions of the game. Especially when Panam takes you aside and asks why your doing all this for her? You get to answer with a simple *"because were friends."*
Nah, there's different options in that answer
@@raz24raz Yeah but i liked how that one turned out the most all in all.
If you have befriended panam, you have absolutely no right to a second chance to romance her
I think we all know why we're really helping her. And it had something to do with when we first met her
I legit spent most of my time in the final quests just hanging at camp, I absolutely am in love with the aldecaldos and the whole united family vibe, how they will go to hell and back for me. The only game I've ever played that made me emotional
Same this the only game that’s made me emotional I wish after the Panam ending when they drive over the lake wasn’t the end nd I got to relax with the aldecaldos nd do more missions with them
the only game in a while maybe
but assassin's creed 2 was probably even more emotional
Yeah I spent an hour or two just chilling with the aldecaldos. Partially because I didn't really want the experience I was having with the game to end yet.
Play Witcher 3 as well, guaranteed to hit you in the feelings again, and again by CDPR
I wish more people could have seen what this game is really about and not only focused on the mistakes CDPR did at release day.
I wanted to do a remix of it and couldn't find any clean material... then I found this. Thanks a lot, aldecaldos.
That pic reminds me of chillin with panam and the nomads
What a vibe
Man i miss this world that isn't real
don't think it's the world itself that you miss, but the relationships with its characters
@@Vox_Popul1 exactly this tbh!
@@Vox_Popul1 it's something you can have in real life too
you just need not to care about the future and live the moment (literally not caring about the future weather you actually die or live in poverty) and find people like you which usually happens between army men in mist Nations
that's why most of us like these games for it's a safe experience of what kind of a crazy life can be like
@@alisalloum733 I’m good
Besides, that’s definitely not the only way to make genuine connections with people. It’s just that it’s harder today because of how alienated we’ve become from one another.
@@Vox_Popul1 Yeah, the world itself is awful - environmentally destroyed, economically dominated by megacorps that don't care about people, and politicians that range from being bought off (Rhyne) to being controlled (Peralez). There's nothing good about the world itself, but the point of the game is that there's still good things in a broken world. Still, no matter the ending chosen, I think the point of the game is that letting go and moving on is the important thing - V always chooses to let go, be it letting go of friends and loved ones for a chance to go down in a blaze of glory, letting go of dreams and leaving Night City, or letting go of life itself to give someone else a second chance.
For all of its issues on release, that's the one thing that Cyberpunk 2077 really nailed - giving people a glimpse of this world where good things and beautiful moments are transitory and things are always moving on. The narrative has always been rock solid and that has carried the game to where it is today (in a much better shape).
You know the "soul" we feel while playing The Witcher 3? This is it.
It’s little things like this where cyberpunk’ a soul shines.
Ponpon Shit is the soul of The Witcher 3
Kerry's boat riff is where it's at
@@Zlobivka quote of the century
♪PON PON SASETE NE!♪
This version makes one homesick for night city. Imagine Judy playing this after leaving night city maybe in Portland, Seattle, etc.
i don't like the original song, it's completely not my cup of tea, but this cover is super comfy
Facts bro lol. Everything I switch to body heat radio and and ponpon is playing i immediately change channels
@@AB-wf2js but almost every other song on body heat radio is a banger.
@@raldrid8264 Agreed. Body heat is my go to radio station every time I get in a car, except for when ponpon is playing like I said lol
@@AB-wf2js I'm more of a Vexelstorm kinda guy with the likes of Kill the messenger and Violence

I much prefer this version of PonPon Shit rather than the actual song, to me it feels more real. Especially after the interaction with Johnny about it
You’re breathtaking
Have been playing this on my guitar for roughly 1h. And then hearing it for another one here. Awesome little song.

I ve been looking for this too, this why i made this😁
@@AgenTekno ty dude, you save my night
I couldn't believe pon pon could be played like this. I couldn't believe my ears when I stumbled upon this in the game casually, didn't realize until an hour passed. Been searching in the game but to no avail.
Im sitting by the fireplace right now with this music. Remember all the choices and connections I made playing this game. It's overwhelming yet oddly comforting. This game changed who I am. And I'll always be thankful for it
On my first play through, I probably sat on the top of that roof where you box the twins and listended to that guy strumming the guitar for an hour. I imagined my V resting against the wall, drinking a beer, and thinking "this ain't half-bad." A moment of respite in a chaotic city.
I am now in Gdansk, Poland and this started to play in my head for some reason. And then I remembered that this was a Polish game :)
I love how brain works...
I’ve experienced moments where this song plays in my head as I go camping with my family and their friends in the desert. This game is such a vibe
Been waiting for this after seeing Johnny play it.
Nice, in the sense of how a song played on a different instrument, gives it a whole other vibe.
When I first saw the game, I was very skeptical. Boring story many bugs etc. But then I let myself be persuaded. Get me the game. And God is this a mega game. It reflects some of the real life. I'm playing the game for the 5th time and it keeps knocking me over again. I've never cried in a game or developed such extreme feelings. After the death of V I was very affected for a few days. It really took me with me. That's how much the game shaped me.
I clocked in over a 100 hr and Platinum the game on the base PS4
And never realize this was a acoustic version pon pon shit !
Mind blown ! Definitely the best Easter egg in the game!
I remember hearing some random npc play this while walking in game, and just stopping and sitting there while they play. Such a great rendition
Rest now, Samurai. The city can wait, at least for today.
Thank you so much!! I was pulling my hair trying to find something on this song. The hype version to me is awful. But I can just listen to this all day.. makes me so relaxed..
This song embodies my mood after playing the game ;-;
Im always remembering the time i sat around the campfire with Panam, Johnny and the Aldecados remembering our friends that died and the good times whenever i hear this song. To jacki, Alt Cunningham and Scorpion 😢🍻
Thanks you , this song is so ... 🤩🤩
The fact that this is an acoustic cover of a J-POP song is insane to me. They are the exact same song, note for note, and yet still seem completely unrelated from one another
I'm not crying... You are...
Awesome thanks I needed that especially during these uncertain times
this song goes very hard
greetings from night city
i hate corpos so much it's unreal
Now I'm feeling motivated
I just wanted to say I stayed up from Midnight til 8AM going through all the endings, this gives me comfort.
Starting now Ill loop this everyday as much as I can as long as Im still not tired of it.
Dosen't silverhand play this?
And here we are again with the anime series that brought the game back to life plus we getting a new story dlc expansion couldn’t get any better than this
Just found him yesterday and even listening to this music for the first time. I was just hooked on it.
Today, already completed this 1 hr video. Playing it again. It's really relaxing to listen to this amazing music while I am working 😃. Thanks for uploading this "looped" version mate.
play this at my funeral, this whole video
Always on the go and hear it everywhere in the game, but you’re so busy doing stuff you can’t really pay attention. Listening to it here you can hear the whole thing and omg it is! For some reason I always thought it was some Samurai song since Johnny was always around. That’s so cool!
I love both ponpon shit and this version!
I want an electric guitar so bad but i live in a navy ship so i have nothing to store it. Either i get a car to store shit or get a girlfriend to store shit at her apartment 😢
I hope your choice is the best. even though there is no choice, just keep positive vibes in 2021
How about just getting a storage unit for storing shit? Then you don't have to worry about car insurance or drama & you can just got get whatever shit you need when you're in port.
@@hazonku legend
@@hazonku What this guy said. Guitars shouldn't be stored in cars and the girlfriend msy damage it if you get in a bad fight. I was in the navy and had a storage unit
bound to get shore duty eventually homie (depending on your rate)
Listening to this while barbecuing in the back with the setting sun in the horizon is magic
0 dislikes and it should stay that way!!
This is one of those songs when I'm running around in NC, if I hear it, I just find the guitar guy nearby and stop and listen to it.
Thanks
What's Ironic is that the game takes place in Northern California, and when it came out I was Stationed in that state so it made it feel a little more relatable
If anyone wants to you can build off what lyrics I've made for this
Come on now and sit with me. Just come and sit and try to listen to my story. I know sometimes the world's against you. But if you just go stand real tall no one will bring you down. Go now man and show the city what you got. But promise me that you'll come back and let go of your past. 'Cuz you seem to forget that people love you now. Because your still just stuck in your past when you got hurt
That's all I got if anyone wants to add off that your free to try to all my cyberpunk brothers and sisters love you all and good night ❤❤❤
Started the game almost 3 weeks ago and would always hear the npc playing this. 2 weeks went by and of course I’ve heard the Us Cracks song a lot of times..but somehow I didn’t connect the dots until one day I was humming the Ponpon song in the shower and I was like “WTF? Was the guitarist npc playing this song?? The tune sounds almost the same!” 😂
1:36 the best part!
maybe nobody gonna understand what i'm talking about, but wen i hear this version, reminds me Leo Brower, sounds a bit of bossanova with a melancholic touch
Wonderful. This riff hit me every time I encountered it in game. Thanks for posting this.
I came across an NPC playing this while heading to meet the Voodoo boys. Bright blue sunny sky with the distant skyscrapers towering above. The sight and peaceful feeling is something I’ll never forget.
I loved this song when it played the night before the basilisk attack. This game is a masterpiece. Even the ends are so well made! Well.. I don't know about the other ones but I had a pretty good ending where V get rid of Johnny, accept is faith and die 6 months later. The final mission before the end makes you almost feel like you're watching a movie as it is so well made. Finally, for a game that was hated for its bugs and lies, it is one of the best game of the century in my opinion as it makes you fell so connected to it's characters and brings the player into a really immersive world. It's really a shame that some people were so disappointed they wouldn't play it again even after major updates.
I freaking loved this game and will play it again when the dlcs are out (sorry if I made English mistakes, I'm french btw :)
Wow this is a total shock to me. I didn't even recognize this is the same song on the radio.
I actually let the man with the guitar finish this song at the camp.
i love this version so much
Kinda shocking that dreadful ear raping song got a soothing emotional guitar cover.
The First time i listened to the cover,It really made me feel relaxed which i can't say the same for the actual song itself which i highly bet its intentional in-game.
Спасибо это то, что я искал.
I could live in this sound.
Could you please make an 1 hour video from the music called "The Beast of Beauclair" which is played in Cyberpunk 2077, it would be great!
Anyway thanks for this song!
sure dud
@@AgenTekno Thanks a lot! Your work is amazing!

This is nice. Relaxing.
The game version of this song makes my cat go crazy, thinking there are chipmunks singing nearby.
Thank you AgenTekno this song is amazing.
I always thought this guitar song was PONPON SHIT, then I was like nahh no way, but I guess it was
I can listen to this all day and all night
Now I can sleep in peace! thank you!💤
Kinda reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. guitar tracks
I miss those guitar guys from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
It’s funny how in the normal version, it’s all upbeat, techno, other J-pop stuff and they’re singing bout certain adult activities, if that’s what they’re on about.
But this guitar version? No lyrics, a much more gentler tune. It hits different. It feels like you’re reflecting on fond memories you had with your friends back in secondary school before losing contact with them for a while, or you’re trying to read a poem you made to honour the memory of someone close to you, whether be friend of family, that recently passed away, as this play in the background.
Funny how 2 versions of 1 song can have different feelings.
Im trying to leen this on guitar right now and im shit with guitar so wish me luck
lol, didnt know it was the ponpon song
this song makes me think about all the good times that happened in my life
this sounds so relaxing. Love it ☺️
I hate the actual track popon shit but this guitar version is one of my favorite things from the game ...
ahhh, this takes me back
Giving me some Far Cry 5 vibes
