The great thing about stock trading in USA is that, there are so many trading apps and it helps to make passive income and also good money if you know what you are doing. If you have a Ghana card and a Ghanaian number, you can use IC Wealth. If not, you should send IC Africa a DM on Instagram or call their support from their page. They can assist you with the process
The CSD account number is generated by CSD not IC. The CSD number helps you in becoming a protected investor in Ghana so beyond IC, you can invest with other brokers and also explore other assets.

Well, not from a professional point of view but in an economic turmoil, only the financially sound people are able to savor it. Ghana is in a bad state now, well stocks are selling around 2ghs although inflation is way high. Imagine after a few years when the country stabilize, which people will make the most returns? So what if you invest and the company collapses is there any way you will get your money back or if the company decides to sell to a different person like what Vodafone just did

Also when there is potential liquidity of the firm or collapsing, they will definitely know and advice you to harvest and invest in other profitable companies.

No it doesn’t. CSD provides you a secured account number to trade on GSE and also access other securities in Ghana. If your information is accurate they will approve once they get to yours.

Worth sharing your experience. Buying stocks has no guarantee it will output profit and past data/performance doesn’t guarantee future returns. However there are alot of individuals and institutions who are also highly profitable from the same market. Inflation and possibility of insider trading are all worries affecting the general outlook of the stock exchange but again as it’s not good for you, it may be good for others.

If you mean dividends, that depends on the stock you purchase. If they offer dividends you will get them maybe quarterly basis, every 3 months

How do you check gains
You can simply check by looking at the current share price and comparing with the price you bought it. The difference is your profit or loss
