I’m new to DP (discovered and started it this past September), and I have seen many pieces I love (already have a decent stash, I think), but this is the very first painting that qualifies as a “must have” for me. I’m an avid reader ever since I was a child and luckily I had access to a variety of book genres. I also love movies. I see references to many books and movies around the image. For me, the book is the centre and everything around it represents all the worlds you can access through reading: the past and future; the real and the imaginary; the warmth of living closer to nature and the “coldness” of the technology that starts to dominate our lives… And overall… all you have floating around in your brain when you let book or movie worlds enter! Not sure this makes sense, but this image really speaks to me!
Hi Leonor! I'm the artist and I love what you wrote there! It's great you get such a reaction to the art. Really means a lot to me to hear your interpretation
@@LovellArt I thank you for sharing your art with us/me!! My first DAC was Mystery #36 by you :) and even though it is very different from this one, I love it too. Wish you all the best!
Just want to say that a big part of the attraction to diamond painting for me is the symbolism in the images. It means so much to me to work with those symbols and colors. Sounds like you respond to all of that very deeply, too.💜🧚♀️💜
After reading Leonor's comment it reminded me of the choose your own adventure books as a child.I would get lost in them for hours. This is going to be a fun one to paint!
Awesome! I am considering getting Fauna as well. I tend to try and avoid all dark or neutral colours these days tho but I may make an exception for that one!
Wrote my comment before seeing the origin of this image, but doesn’t take away from what it means to me. Guess that’s art: speaks to different people in different ways. Thanks for bringing us this sneak peek!
You are so lucky that you got to sneak peek his canvas. I love his artwork. You did an amazing job with the details in this video. I would love to have this one but must wait for general release. I have lotus which is one that I got for my birthday. Hope you’re doing good. 😊
I will be glad when DAC stops the cover minders. They are super cheap and miserably tiny. You would think they would have put better quality into their efforts. I have tossed every single one so no great loss. That carrot is pitiful. This canvas is nice. It is an intriguing image. Thank you for showing it! It really is a wow.
This piece is very intriguing and captivates the mind for a longer amount of time than most. However I think this one will not go on my list simply for the fact that my five year old would be scared of it. Also, the little carrot coverminder is just the absolute cutest!! I will be crossing my fingers to come across that one before they go away in the future. Thank you for this detailed sneak peek! ❤

Hi Alysa
Thanks for sharing the great unboxing. I ❤ this image. So intriguing and thought provoking with everything that is in the image.

This is an inigmatic image for sure. So much to ponder. Thanks for your sensitivity to all of that, Alysa.💜🧚♀️💜
Thanks Sylvia!
This one is the second Lovell I’m getting. Fauna and this one seem to be on my list. Love it

Yes I can see your 5 year old may be scared. I think that was the first carrot minder I have received I thought it was cute too lol
Wow that is a busy canvas. Made for a band do you know what band and the meaning of the art work? Thanks for sharing.
Yes lots of stuff in this canvas! All I could find was it was the cover for The Neptune Project x Christopher Lovell. I couldn't find a description.
OMGGGG I love that!!!!
Yay! Be ready with fast fingers his art usually sells out!
OMG!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks Sam!!!!
@thediamondstitcher so far, this is my one and only must-have. The rendering is amazing!!! 💜
