Kuoe customer service is top notch! I am the second owner of my Old Smith and the original owner scratched the caseback fairly deeply. I contacted Kuoe and they sold me a new case back for $50 including four day shipping. Watch looks new again.
I have a SEIKO SRPG 39K1 and I love everything about it except for the fact that it is so reflective. I wonder if this is reflective as well. At a practical level it is quite disadvantageous

Look up omega ref 2179,which was made in the 1940s.The case on this new watch is very similar.

Pricey yes but designed and assembled by in Japan as opposed to completely manufactured in e.g. China. That adds to the cost.
