But I was able to turn my 45.00 of free play into 55.00 last night. Old Kanomi game. 44.00 line hit, plus a little extra. When I have free play, I'll just pick an older game, and just hope for one decent line hit, and if I get one, I'll just cash out. Came close to having another bad night though. Playing Dragon Cash, and was having absolutely no luck. I had already lost 400.00 on two machines, and decided to try a third one. 100.00 in, .10¢, 5.00 bet, was down to my last 13.00, when I got the hold and spin with the Minor for 500.00, and some other nice sized balls. Total win was 990.00. Played it down to 970.00 (no back to back). Got my 500.00 back plus a little extra. I was so tempted to try another machine. One, I play the same like you. I am struggling with nights when just nothing is happening, no bonuses after $500-$800. Those are the worst for me because my brain can’t understand that I can leave casino without even getting a bonus. Then I decide to pure more in and then there is no bonus to satisfy me because I am down way too much. No way to get out from that hole. Pokies always win because we never maximise our wins but always maximise our losses. For example, at $680 you should have cashed out but instead you settled for $500. And thats the problem with Dragon link. My suggestion....cash out at $680, then throw $50 or $100 in and you walk away if that $50 or $100 is lost. You now walk away away with $580 / $630 instead of $500. Another option is you cash out at $680 even without a backup spin and hit the next machine. You go $100 in each machine and keep walking if that $100 is lost. Timing is everything and most of the time we persevere on dead machines.....just like you change you denom....change the machine and regularly. Hope you keep winning.
That’s a good point. I need to work on getting that feeling of cashing out bigger money to be stronger than FOMO (fear of missing out). FOMO is a serious problem for me and that’s why I overstay more often.

I have seen him walk away with a total of $6,500 upwards in an hours play. Simply by moving from one machine to the next. ( eg he might win $346 on one machine, $837 on another etc etc ) But he only plays $10 bets on 10 cent denom....nothing else.
Yes, that would be Bonus or Bust strategy that I play too every now and then, only with $100 per machine and bet is about $3-$5. I played once $200 per machine in High Limit on $5 bet. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it helps a lot when you remove emotions out of it and no matter what, you will alway go home with some money. I like that strategy. If he does $300 with $10 bet, that is pretty risky, because he has time for only 30 spins per machine. Today’s machines are often too cold to hit within 30 spins. Just a thought.

Shows you don't have to bet big to win. Also when machine is in down cycle, drop down to 1 cent denom and bet 50 cents for a while
