>Can hold swing to look behind you when shielding.
Absolute game changer holy crap.
This has been in the game for like 4 or 5 years now lmao
@@hogndog2339 yeah but that doesn’t mean everybody knows it. Come on man think
@@hogndog2339 I haven’t known this and I’ve been playing since early OW1
@@MysticalWizard101 oh yeah I know, Overwatch does a really poor job of actually telling the players what mechanics are in the game
@@hogndog2339 I played since OG OW1 launch and didn't know. It's honestly esoteric hidden tech to me. 😅
The camera spin with the shield up is something so simple yet never crossed my mind lol. Absolute banger, keep it up man 👉
Never knew this was possible. I actually thought it's a missing feature
It's in the setting so that why some poeple don't know
@@PetsKitties is it for brigitte as well?
“2 shot every 200hp hero”
And then picks the one 200hp hero that can’t be one shot
1*brigitte has armor
2*it was before the update
@@orangefire_pd still didn’t specify Bridgette could survive
@@jeremiahbluehot4571Brigitte didn’t have 200hp though, she had 175 with 25 armor, just because most players think armor shields overhealth and health are the same doesn’t mean that health specifically is HP
IVE PLAYED THIS WHOLE TIME WITHOUT KNOWING I CAN LOOK AROUND WHILE SHIELDING
RIGHT!
Pull it together man, that was introduced in OG OW
@davidc2435 No one told me about it, and I had no reason to try and swing my hammer while shielding, that just made no sense, so I never figured it out.
@@this_foo_right_herei've been playing since 2019 and i had no idea this existed 😭
The 360 look on rein is new to me and I've been playing since launch.
Are there other techs like that that most players may not k ow that you can make a shorts series on?
Advanced tip:
if you’re already standing your own as rein, keep your ult back to apply pressure, if you’re walking towards them and they already know you have ult after the last team fight, they tend to give you room (especially if you assert dominance by solo shattering someone at least once in the match)
It’s also MUCH better to solo a genji than shatter a whole team with no one else alive to confirm kills.
I never knew about the 360 view
Lol new player good on u for learning
Hope it helps!
@@dukeoflemon6056i’ve been playing since 2016 and my ass mained rein for 2 years and I still did not know until right now.
@@Maguire_every Rein guide since OW1 give this tips.
Intermediate tip. Cancelling Charge for a Shatter is a great way to catch people off guard since most of the time people expect you to Charge into a wall and stay vulnerable. It's not applicable all the time, but it's good for the mind games.
When they have a stun like orisa lance or ana sleep no matter if you slam into a wall or not you're gonna get fucked before you can even ult or even worse MID ult
it’s also canon 👍
Bap window with one shot firestrike are back baby!
Rein bap is coming back with a vengeance! 2 200 hp firestrikes through baps window will destroy everyone in your path, I'm so happy rein is getting love finally!
The devs even mentioned this combo and how it's back! They even said it's an okay combo as it requires an ultimate and an ability.
This aged like milk
For more movement jump and sheild at the end of the charge to get a bunny hop allowing increase in distance, keeping momentum, and getting your sheild up as soon as you enter the fight.
You are so consistent with your tips dude they are all so great you have helped so many players including me thanks.
I've been doing the other stuff but had no idea I could look behind me. Usually, I'm in tense battles and turn around only to see my whole team has suddenly decided to leave me to chase a butterfly like a group of small dogs.
It’s been 6 years of me not knowing you can free spin the camera, jeezus
I feel like that last tip is going to help me heaps because more often then I'd like to admit I go in without noticing they're not pushing as hard anymore
That camera thing is huge ill definitely be do that for now on
that thing is HUGE
i never know if my team were ready or not until im dead and watching via kill cam
and then realizing support dying since genji/reaper broke our defense
As a Support main, that last tip is a must.
> 2 Firestrikes will kill 200HP heros
> Targets a brig, which has armor and still wouldn't die.
No more one shot shatter 😭
Don't worry! A fire strike can finish them off!
It's also important to be completely plastered on german alcohol in order to play a reinhardt correctly
As a forever wood league player I'ma just ult then charge one dude and get that smooth brain dopamine lol
holy the cam turn change my game alot
Reinhart is OP af after the fire strike and shatter buff
Not really op. The fire strike requires you to hit two in a row and the enemy can easily dodge if they're paying attention, or if they're healed a bit in the ~2 secs in-between the strikes, it won't kill them. Shatter has sooo many things that can deny it. He can be cc'd when he does it (can be hard but doable), and can be completely negated by any shield, zarya bubble, orisas fortify, and suzu. He's pretty good after the buffs but not op since his abilities have good counterplay
@@bigsquidcthulhu7424 Good point with the suzu, it does hard counter shatter. but shatter has always been strong ever since 5v5,its easier to cross/bypass the tank and then hit shatter to get atleast 2 squishies down, has enough time to kill them with firestrike, swing or charge a priority target like nano genji or ramattra. Considering the shield and more reliable mobility he has now with charge control and lesser cooldown, I would say he is pretty OP when he plays with the team. They literally buffed all of his kit except shield from previous years. Still not as brain dead as orisa tho.
@@kowshikjayaraman9267 I agree that he's pretty strong now but still don't think he's op because as I mentioned before there's a lot of counterplay to reins whole kit. You say it's easier for a rein to bypass the tanks now and target the squishies which isn't entirely wrong since there's now one less tank, but you forget to take into consideration that since there's one less tank rein gets focused more as well. This makes it harder to bypass the tanks since you're likely to die trying. If you try and charge past you're often cc'd by orisa spear or spin, ana's sleep, hogs hook, or even counter pinned by a rein or doom punch. Then even if you don't get cc'd you're taking damage the whole charge since you're completely vulnerable and even if you manage to pin someone they can be saved by zarya bubble or suzu. All these conditions make it to where a charge is not a very viable way to bypass the tank and target the squishies. If you try and shield in instead most likely your shield will just get melted by dmg boosted sojourn and you'll die. You could argue it's a bit easier now to go after the squishes but it's still by no means easy. Rein really excels at playing corners where he has that natural cover but most of the time against pretty decent players the only way your getting to their squishies is if they messed up or they positioned poorly. Not saying it's impossible or anything just difficult.
The phrase OP is so overused nowadays. He’s now playable at higher ranks as opposed to before where he was a borderline throw pick. That is all.
Overwatch is best when Rein is meta
Holy shit, I had no idea you could free look like that, I've never seen anyone do that before
Wait that camera trick is huge wtf
REINHARDT AND BALL META IS REALLLLLL
Love that a main component of playing rien is to use a camera bug.
Whenever i die as rein and my team are taking dmg, i come back and do what he did in the film. Charge in and pulled out his sheild
I think its pretty useful to cancel ur charge with a jump to carry some extra momentum.
Wait you can HOLD SWING TO LOOK 360?
I actually noticed that when pressing swing while the shield is on the camera was a bit weird, but I only ever tapped it and never tried holding. As a Rein main, that's a REAL game changer
I'm just glad I can now fire strike junk tire again 😫😭
Dude I was in a game with the most insane reinhardt of all time a week or so ago. He wasn’t like, crazy good or anything, he just kept charging in and hitting people and I kept healing him and somehow it sort of worked
Wait... these are actually really good tips. Thanks!
Ngl I’m just gonna be throwing for maximum people hit, tank and whoever else for earthshatter charge
I don't play OW anymore but this is compelling content. Thank you!
When i do cancel charge it doesn’t really help me but when I don’t cancel I can make combos
Nano fire strike can one shot tracer/baby dva now, learned that the hard way.
Very useful 👍
The fact that doom fists punch only does 50 damage is crazy
I have a better tip charge then cancel jump and shield for more range trust me
...huh, after 20 hrs with rein, never knew bout the 360 camera
I saw someone use this in an actual game...humbled him real quick
I actually didn’t know these facts
I accidentally found out the shield thing when in quick play I don't use it though
This Is the first thing i saw that was normal after my friend told Me to look up TodoDeku and i thank you for it
another kinda weird one. Its your job to track the enemy tanks ult and play around it, especially if its another rein.
Instead of shattering their team i have found solo shattering the isolated rein and then team shooting him would be best because in todays overwatch you lose if your tank dies
THE THIRD ONE!! My god as a support main pleeease just keep track, if I’m being harassed by a tracer please don’t charge away from me into the enemy team assuming I’m right behind you. (Rein players, you can also ask your teammates to ping if they’re getting dived!) That awareness is what separates a good and a bad tank player imo
i cant see the back of my head
also noone tells if they got bothered
once i put shield and hammer, i always look at the front
The fuck is the swing button ?!
Reaper ult cant kill a bastion at full hp in turret mode
Good tip holding both buttons to look around. Players suffer from single player syndrome and never play an objective base team base game
Returned* to 100 damage per shot. Dunno why they dropped the damage for OW2 anyway. 😤
-Rein main.
Honestly I've never seen anyone use the free look while shielding because it's honestly just isn't super useful
What if me and the other rein have both seen this video?
Seeing all these nerfs to instakill abilities, I hope they rework Hanzo and Widow someday.
Wait did that pin NOT kill Reaper?
👁👄👁
“So firestrikes can now 2 shot any 200 hp hero and with ult, any 250 hp too”
*shows example of not that happening*
Its pre buff footage, my friend
Best tip of all switch off
You can't 2 shot zen as rein, don't try to focus zen unless they are NOTICABLY below half health
What's the swing button? Does he mean the attack button to swing the hammer?
Yup
What is swing button on controller?
RT if you're on Xbox and R2 if you're on PS
What is a squishy???
YOU CAN FREE LOOK?
Tip 4: don't play against orisa. Or Junk. Or Lucio. Or Phara. Or-
The most important tip: know when to defend and when to attack, don't just stay in the back shileding your teammates, and don't dash in alone like an idiot, instead protect your backline, and when the enemy backline isn't protected dash in and kill them but only if your team is with you and safe, also, save your ult for the enemy backline, not the tank
Yeah, Reinhardt isn't good at killing tanks
I SUBScribeeeeddddddd
I think the series needs a rename (not sure what too tho)
Cool
Actually this is bad advice for Rien mains I know cuz I'm one of them, First always command who cares if your teammate is right behind you, Second again who cares if your teammate he's right behind you charge it it will be fun, Third always go for Tank and Forth you guessed it who cares for your team that is right behind you don't need them, They Need You!
Ye so rein mains better look back n see how far u went without ur team n start dying n then spam I need healing that's ur fault
new players have tunnel vision in general. its insane the feeding the f2p players do..
Yeah I’m not trusting a posh Reinhardt. Every posh rein is bad
Im sick of rein players who use charge every 6 seconds its so cringe and not fun to fight
Not goood advice
