He had a bad dream and went from loving to hating bathtime overnight and we've been trying to show him other toddlers being calm with the water until he's more comfortable with it. Kai is so good with his bath time in this video! Very calming for my little guy and a great breakdown of how to handle all the steps of the routine - thanks for sharing!

There is a huge flower bath rug in the bath tub you should use that to put it into the bath tub so you do not fall down after you get out of the bath tub.
Aw he really is cute in that outfit! 😍😍 I never knew about the chest rub and the bathwash to help with congestion! I'm gonna have to get that because my LO's are not well and they are pretty congested! I love the skip hop toy organizer! I have been at a loss on organizing their toys! Great video! 👌🏾 I need to snag some baby hair oil as well... you are filling up my shopping cart! LOL
Kai has been so badly congested especially since starting daycare 😔 These things have helped him. I’m looking forward to it going away. Hope there boys are feeling better ❤️
It's so much easier when they're little. Bath time used to be so fun but my son is almost three and now everything is drama. Bath time is drama, trimming nails is drama, hair cuts are 5 alarm melt-downs. I have that same blue cup but if I get one drop of water in his face he loses it. I tried using a wash cloth instead of cup, I installed a hose with a sprayer for more control and still no luck - and now I'm just venting ;(
@@HerTruthSpeaks Thank you for that. I actually recently had a break through with bath time. I mentioned that I installed a sprayer and it ended up helping but not in the way that I intended. Instead of using the sprayer to rinse my sons hair I let him use the sprayer to play car wash with his car bath toys, and playing with the sprayer keeps him distracted enough to allow me to rinse his hair with a cup or wash cloth. I called my wife into the bathroom to watch and she was thoroughly amazed.
Our routine is similar 👏🏻👏🏻 how do you get your baby in a towel? Maybe it’s me who’s complicating it, but I have to put the towel’s hoodie under my chin, tuck each side into my pants’ waistband then grab the baby from behind from the bathtub, put the hoodie on, then untuck the left side of the towel to wrap it over baby and continue with the right side. Is there any easier way for one person to do this??
Thank you for sharing this video! I have been finding it hard to make my 1.5 yr old son to feel comfortable in a big tub by himself. He gets a bit scared and starts crying loudly. How did you get your baby to like the tub by himself? I tried getting into the tub and play with the bubbles and have my baby on my lap to help him get comfortable. Any other suggestions are welcome!

I’ve come to realize it’s the taste of the toothpaste he likes 🤦🏾♀️😂 Now I have to sing and act crazy to get him to open wide so we can get the back. Lol
@@AbieKamara aw lol that makes sense as my baby likes holding the toothbrush and puts it in her mouth but once it comes down to brushing I have to force her to do it. Do you have any other tips?
@@marianieto6821 In the beginning I had to use my own toothbrush & teeth to show him the motions. At that age he was very eager to mimic everything I did, and it worked. Even now I do that at times; I show him what I how/where I want him to brush and be copies me.
They have these bath cushions you can use that may help. Maybe her sitting on it will give her the feel of sitting in a chair. Also maybe only put a small amount of water in the tub to start. I’m sure she’ll do just fine with the transition 😃
My son just turned one. I have the whale water scooper and my son hates it😟 He always cries when I'm rinsing the shampoo off. Any suggestions? Idk if I'm using too much water but it keeps going in his eyes and he panics and cries 😭
I get it. My son doesn’t like it either these days. I make sure to lean his head back and will hold his chin up before pouring the water on his head. Also I put the scooper at the top of his head always pouring towards his back. Hope this helps

My daughter has used a bath seat since she was 6 months old (she is now 12 months old), do you have any tips for transitioning her to the big bath?
